I also think it more likely some creep will target a woman dressed in a mini skirt over sweats, but I'm not saying harassment of girls in sweats doesn't happen. You seem to be implying that if all things are equal, a girl that only wears sweats will be harassed equally as the same girl that only wears mini skirts. "I don't accept that line of thinking".

Do I have to go Mr. T on you sucka fool?

Let me try to explain some simple mathematics for you.

Boys - look.
Creeps - ogle.
Harassing Creeps - Harass

In your research you found that when you wear sweats 25 boys look at you, but when you wear a mini skirt 50 boys look at you per hour.
The number of creeps to boys is 1 in 25. The number of harassing creeps to creeps is 1 in 10.
If you wear sweats it is likely you will be harassed at least once in 10 hours of walking around in sweats.
If you wear a mini skirt it is likely you will be harassed at least twice in 10 hours of walking around in mini skirts.

Basically, you get more attention and you have just increased the odds one of the people in that pool is a harassing creep. Simple math.
The only thing you can do to attempt to refute this is to stupidly attempt to state that more boys do not look at girls in mini skirts as opposed to sweats. As proof just read the entire .gif thread and the rest of jazzfanz.
If you want to make it more complex you start to worry about the places you go, the types of people you see and the odds of finding a creep in the different situations you are in. Are you with friends or alone, are you in small groups of people, large groups of people, or walking alone in the dark in a neighborhood that some view as "rough". So many factors.

I'm thinking the triangle man is on extremely solid ground here.....whereas One Brow (a woman?) in unable to reason things out in a clear manner for one reason or another! Triangle man's illustrations and examples have basis in fact whereas One Brow.....well she's out in left field somewhere, probably the product of way too much higher education that turned her into a pseudo-intellectual, in which everything is "relative" and nothing is ever black and white, true or false, good or bad.

Look you r tard it doesn't matter. It's not a moral argument.

You're less likely to have your car stereo stolen if you have a pos 20 year old cassette tape deck. You're less likely to have your bike stolen if you scavenge it from the landfill. You don't blame victims of theft for having nice things so don't blame victims of harassment and rape for being attractive. It's low scum of the earth behavior to do so.

No one was blaming the victim, no one. Triangle Man was talking about it and things that increased the odds of being harassed but he never blamed them.

You've made your point by noting that woman forced to dress in a manner she finds uncomfortable is subject to greater harassment, as if you think it disputes my point? Of course a woman who is uncomfortable when dressed provatively will be a target for harassment; it's the discomfort that attracts the harassers.

Still, I suppose it's very manly that you only support rape culture partially, by saying the women don't deserve harassment even though it's they can avoid it, if only they conform to your expectations. At least, it's common among men.

You've made your point, unconvincing and without evidence. I welcome our departure from the conversation.

Thanks One Troll, I appreciate your support.

I respectfully disagree with you that women should be blamed for harassment, and I think you should change your views on it.
Glad we could have a meaningful conversation where you actually listen to what I'm saying without going off topic into some personal crusade of yours.

Who you calling "retard"? Rape is a punishable crime in all civilized countries as well as some not so civilized! No one is questioning that. But with shameless fashions the norm of the day, and the endless stream of nudity, porn, and other sexually arousing entertainment practically free of charge and available 24 hrs a day, your going to have a greater chance of various sex crimes and the statistics world wide bear this out! Interesting movie about 50 years ago was "Town Without Pity" with Kirk Douglas. Makes a pretty good statement and an interesting plot. Check it out.

It's a two way street, if you don't want certain attention then don't advertise for that attention whether intentional or unintentional.

If sluts don't want to be harassed then they shouldn't wear a mini skirt.

Srs stoked, you should have been able to see through his garbage without me having to post that quote for you. He was simply trying to disguise a general contempt for the rights of women within what sounds like a rational argument.

Lol. You don't know a damn thing about him or his thoughts on "the rights of women".

But whatever. If Triangle wants to debate with then he can.

I bear some responsibility for my taking that meaning from what you wrote. Do you think you bear any for writing it? It's not like I take that meaning from what dalamon writes, nor from what Stoked writes, nor what moevillini writes, even though they don't completely agree with me.

Sluts bring all kinds of joy available to each and everyone of us. IMO, Sluts should have their own national day in which much celebration is had non-stop for at least 24 hours, preferably more, All Praise the mighty hoses.
