Defining moment for DL - this decision can either make or break the franchise for the next 5 years.
I don't think he matches. You can't hold firm at 12/per in pre-season negotiations and then turn around and award Gordon another 10+ mil (over the life of the contract) after the so-so season he had where they basically turned over the keys to the entire team to him.
The only viable options are S&T or letting him go for nothing.
I do not think it is that drastic but it is important none the less. What may determine what DL does is what realistic options the Jazz currently have to replace him.
