He handled the pressure brilliantly. Never hung his head or showed poor body language, and didn't at any point look like he lost his confidence even though he didn't play well and shot being way off.

Dude, he had bad body language the whole SL. Hands on tugging at his jersey kind of stuff because he was so tired. Even if you are tired, you have to disguise it a little bit.

Let me guess...you have voted that Exum should start at PG on the poll...

That's irrelevant.

Having said that, I've made my position clear. I'm sure he comes off the bench to start.. i predict hes starting by game 30. I think he has tremendously more upside than Burke.

So do we think that the team will be better this year with Burke starting? Even if Exum has more potential? Or will Exum's superior play help Favors, Burks, Kanter, and Hayward out more?

Not talking about being tired. Dude hasn't played ball in 6 month at the very least, and during play he didn't show it at all, but I was more talking about sulking, like what happened to Hayward the last half of the year.

You can be tired and not physically demonstrate it as much as Exum did. He was pulling at his jersey constantly. That is a part of body language.

I think thee jazz fan is agreeing with you. Tugging his jersey is a body language sign of being tired.

Thee jazz fan is saying that he didnt see exum exibit bad body language specifically showing a bad attitude, down on himself or teammates, sulking/pouting, getting upset etc etc

Damnit Cy!!! Read my damned post yo..... Ok. I know what your doing... Discussion over. Obviously your baiting me. As you like to do to other posters, but I wasn't talking about being tired. There's nothing wrong with showing it as long aaa it doesn't affect your play. I've seen both Kobe and Jordan tugging on their jersey showing fatigue.

So what you're saying is Exum is just as good as both Kobe and Jordan? Me likey.

I think that Exum's quickness, size, and court vision easily makes the other guys better than whatever Burke's most positive attributes are.
I really like Burke as a back up a lot.. but not starter.

Why are people so obsessed about the fact that Dante was in poor game-shape? The dude hadn't been competing in games for months. Everybody knows that there isn't a good simulation for games. He'll play himself into shape between SL, Australian play, and training camp.

Please get over it.

heh

The only reason I wouldn't start Exum right now is his lack of conditioning. If that is fixed from now to November, let him start.

Though I get the argument of him playing backup but getting a minimum of 25 or so minutes a game. That wouldn't upset me at all this year.

Like Gordon did all last year.
