exactly i did real ****. like riding a bmx doing stunts, or go out camping, fixing dirtbikes and getting to do ofroad racing, or date girls.
play basketball, soccer, american football and did martial arts

aint nobody got time for that.
 
UGLI, I know exactly what you mean. I got a hobby box of Panini Prestige in 2010 for my birthday. Hoping to pull a Wall, Turner, Favors, Johnson, Cousins auto etc.

I ended up pulling a Tyreke Evans auto. He went on to win ROY and I sold it for like $50 + I kept the other two autos and jersey card that I pulled as well. The box only costed $69.99. I usually buy boxes that are a little bit older because they tend to be cheaper. Also I only buy the ones that guarantee an auto or two.

So now you buy a 2010 box for cheaper than it used to be and try to pull a Wall or Cousins or George auto and if you get a Favors/Hayward auto it's just gravy.

Fwiw, I just sold a graded 1970-71 Topps Jerry Sloan card for $9.99 + shipping. It was only like a 7.5 or 8 grade, btw.

tl;dr

Save your money, and your cards. Give them to your kids or nephews; you'll get much more enjoyment than you will by attempting to sell them.

I know his brother. He's part of a bible study group that my family is involved with, really cool guy. He said Merlin became a Christian on his deathbed, pretty cool.

If you sell $1,000 worth of cards you end up getting $900 after 7% fees from eBay and 3% fees from PayPal.
 
All I wanna do is open up a bunch of cards. I don't even want the cards and I kinda hate "collecting" things.

Don't. Trout's right. I had upward of 40,000 baseball cards by the end of high school. I have zero now for a reason. They were jack for one main reason. Overproduction. If I'm you, I closely track which specific brand of card has the most value this year (it'll be one that is minimally produced) and once Exum starts off ****ty (November is a brutal month), go to a flea market, trade show or card store and try to find one and buy it at like 45% of the value at that point.

Buy rare cards at their lowest value and make an offer to buy those cards at about 45% of their current value. That's the only way to make money.
 
Y'all gave me a good idea.

My son was born this year. It would be cool to buy him a couple packs of cards and never open them. What would be a good brand to buy?

Do research on the internet as to what the most expensive rookie cards are right now. Those are likely the most costly packs to buy and will have the most intriguing long-term upside.

I just want to open some boxes of ****ing basketball cards and see what happens lol

I don't actually know, but def something thats not totally crappy. Like, maybe something thats $10 a pack or something? I actually have no idea bout cards these days.

















But I will once I order my 50 boxes and upload a video of me opening them all on jazzfanz!!!
