What's new

Wow, Gordan Hayward!

Good enough. Trade CJ now!! Do it KOC ya pansy.

OP was right about Fesenko. Jazz never would have been in the game without him, especially with his block on Griffin, he turned the game around.
Hayward had 2 blocks that the refs stole from him. You could see his shooting form just transform as he stayed in the game.
I thought I liked Griffin seeing him on highlight reels, but seeing him in a whole game, my opinion of him dropped considerably. What a baby. Another star that whines on every play, and it works, as the officials went out of their way to make him happy. Luckily Hayward and Jefferson started shooting great. Hopefully this is now the norm for them.

Griffin whines because he's a great player on a terrible team, but he's young...

I disagree with the OP. I thought Hayward played better than Jefferson in the first quarter. He missed shots, but he was very active in all other respects. Then both he and Jefferson turned their games around big time. I hope it is the start of something good for Gordon.

Let's not overreact here. One good game in December of a rookie season probably means nothing.

I will now prove my point:

Well, thanks for the memory and the major laugh I got from watching this again. I almost with KK2 had stayed with us just so I could yell BOOM B!TCHES ever time he scores a basket. It was a blast in the playoffs last year, and every time I did it, my gf would just bust out laughing. Not because she got the joke, she just thought I was weird.
I even yelled it at Skybox during game six and everyone around me thought I was nuts.

Anyway. I don't think you should be comparing KK2 to Hayward. Hayward has MUCH more talent and potential. We all know that KK2 will never be that good. I don't think he has ever scored 17 points in a game either.

A more apt comparison to prove your point would be to bring up Gaines and his game against Cleveland last year.

Dude. Check the link in my post.

December 26 of Kosta's rookie year (2008)

29 minutes
18 points on 8-11 shooting
8 rebounds
2 assists
2 steals
1 block

If anything that's more impressive than Hayward's game, especially given the minutes involved. And it's still the best game of Koufos' career.

ok, missed that one.

I feel pretty satisfied that Gordan has much more upside. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I still feel like Sloan and management killed Koufos. I know that sounds nuts, but he was good his rookie year, then inexplicably got pulled for one of the least productive players to ever get a 2nd contract (Collins) and the slide began from there. Furthermore, he sat on the bench most of the season instead of getting sent to the D-League. Just sat there, for no reason. I think that **** destroyed his psyche, but oh well.
