Did he sign with the Jazz or the last week news was just a rumour?

I hope it is not a journalistic hoax and he will play for the Jazz...he seems a good player!

He has not signed yet. However, on Locke's podcast yesterday he indicated that it was still quite likely.
 
He's holding out for a max contract.
What impresses him most about Utah is they've already named a town after him.

Hey I have a great marketing idea: let's start a cycling event and call it the Toure Murry. Starts at the Larry H. Miller Toyota (his first dealership?) and includes the Jordan River Parkway, Wheeler Historic Farm, etc. Race concludes at Murry City Park where sponsorship booths can be set up. Shawn Bradley, David Archuleta and Ken Jennings, who are all (or were) residents can serve as the co-hosts/celebs for the event.

Genessy & Falk (Twitter) both confirming reports today that Murry has officially signed with the Jazz.
 
I'm guessing the Jazz are being pretty proactive about their D-League roster. Any other teams doing this kind of guaranteed signing of players likely to be at their affiliate the majority of the year?

Yess great news!!! Jazz roster is looking really interesting....I can't wait for the preseason to start!

DL did a great job this summer...let's give credit to him!

The only drawback has been Hayward contract...but it will serve as a lesson for him to handle better Kanter and Burks contracts!
 
What's the difference between Murry & Felix? Both can defend & hit the three. I know Felix had a lot of rebounds in college (he played a lot of minutes) and he can also dribble inside and score.

From the Murry highlights I've seen he looks to have good court vision and he's a good passer.

Anyone familiar with either player that can add some thoughts?
