Attendance could still be better than last year if the team plays better. Losing is one thing, but the Jazz were losing badly much of last year.

I don't think you're average fan will start to take notice of the team again until they make a decent playoff run. I don't think playing marginally better is going to get anyone other than hard core fans excited.
