....something is wrong....terribly wrong in Lakerland! They just got beat at home again by a putrid Grizzle team playing the second night on a back to back! The Lakers have ZERO chance of repeating this year......ZERO!!!

That's always been my mantra.
Anyone but the Lakers in basketball and the Yankees in baseball.
However, I'd probably make an exception if the Heat played the Lakers in the Finals. As much as I hate Kobe and Jackson, I think my disdain for Lebron, DWade and Bosh is a bit higher this year.
 
Do Lakers Blow it up? Or just let it fall apart? I wonder if they don't target Crymelo, CP, or pieces from Portland? I just hope they rebuild before a certain point gaurd becomes a free agent.

Well, this will also be Jackson's last season as coach. It will be interesting to see who they bring in.

My guess is they somehow make a trade with New Orleans to get CP3. The Hornets are bleeding money and it's a given Chris Paul will be playing somewhere else.
 
.....they'll probably end up with Mello AND Paul! Don't know if it would work....but it would cost them big bucks on payroll!
 
Yea, the Lakers suck so bad they are tied with the Jazz in wins and losses.
They suck.
I love to see them lose as much as anyone, but lets be realistic here, and not jump the gun.
Every team has a losing streak, they have plenty of time to turn it around.
Lets just hope they continue to lose.... but they don't suck yet.
 
....Fisher and Artest, major contributors last year, have completely run out of bullits! Kobe is wearing out fast.....and either his ego or his brain cells have begun to interfere with his judgement and shot selection! Bynum has always been overrated. Gasol is frustrated and being pushed around like a red headed step child. Odom? He's probably back to smoking pot. Phil Jackson is tired of coaching...so he's stopped doing it and just lets Kobe take over the team. This team as currently set up couldn't beat the Spurs in a 7 game series....if they played 100 of them!
 
Still to early to sell the Lakers. They have been to the NBA Finals 3 years in a row. There is still 3 months of the season BEFORE the playoffs. Too early to get concerned. It's not like they are .500 or something.

....no, but during the last 5 games they are under .500. This team is just old and not focused on basketball anymore. They may drop off the playoff map before the season even ends!
