Dude has been killing it so far in preseason. He is giving a lot of effort on D, nailing 3's, and making some great passes without dominating the ball.

doesnt need to draw fouls if he keeps passing the ball and shooting it like he did tonight.

He took it to cp3.

Doubt he'll be top-15. We're getting way ahead of ourselves here.
However, the BEST thing the Jazz did was to draft competition behind him. Looks like he's upped his game. But again, it's only preseason. Jazz are playing hard under a new coach, with all the players competing for minutes. Portland and Clippers don't have much to play for.

I have been saying since he was drafted, wait until his second year. He didn't become a star at Michigan until year 2 either. Not sure he will be Top 15 this season, but he will make huge strides.

I believe!!

Oh wait your talking about Burke not burks....

Um ya sure dude can play!!!

this kid is a baller. snyder and exum is the best thing ever happened to him. corbin would've ruined him.

Too soon to put him in that group now, but if this play continues I think he's in the discussion. Maybe even top 10 like someone mentioned. He's playing well on both ends being a two way player helps elevate you.

I would bet though that he's in the top 15 talks by midway this season as long as he's healthy. I think people really underestimated the finger injury last season.

no matter what he becomes he will always come in handy for us because he doesn't turn the ball over and makes clutch shots. i predicted that he will have a typical sophomore increase in stats - he should be 16/6.5 ish. all depends on how many minute he avg. and 42/90/38% would be ideal.

and if trey really becomes top 15 pg, we will go far.

He has looked fantastic so far.

Fwiw though i though he looked bad in SL and both scrimmages so who knows....... basically its too early to tell but so far he has looked like a top 15 pg in these pre-season games.

Burke is the perfect point guard for this team. He will have a top 15 PG season this year, IMO.

If he maintains that level of play throughout the season - yes! If not(most likely) - no. Hell, if he maintains that level, he might actually be an all-star. I will hold judgement for now, but the early signs are very encouraging.

Yes, he played well in the preseason, so I expect him to be an all-star soon. Unless he plays badly in the next game. Then I'll freak out about how undersized and slow he is, and whine about the foolishness of having drafted him. But then he may follow it with another good game, in which case...
