All the top players in the league know/knew get to the line very often.

Durrant
Harden
Kobe
Jordan
Girffin

etc etc

I think Burks is probably our top 3 player on this team right now and it's essential that we re-sign him.

Burks better be a big priority, though I guess he has this year to prove he is. Still, I'd rather see the Jazz avoid another overlay ( though I could totally be eating crow about Hayward this year)

If he can turn those FTA's into causation for our wins, I will be happy.

He had a big game statistically in the Suns game, but I really don't feel like he played well at all.

It's the only thing that's kept him in the NBA and will probably the thing that takes him out of it. Let's all pray for health. I'm worried he's going to blow an acl or break something the way his game is. There aren't a lot of players who can do what he does and stay healthy (like Kobe).

I heard that Burks is in Snyder´s doghouse... He will get a lot of DNP´s this season.

The good thing about Burks is that I think he is going to put up some impressive looking numbers regardless. Could make him a good trading chip if DL & Quin decide he isn't a good fit for the offense long-term.

It's a luxury they lacked under most of KOC's boneheaded experimental tenure. Draft ****in faux value adders instead of Board Charts for hell's sake.

Kanter plays the stretch-4 which gives Burke, Burks and Hayward more space and opportunity to slash to the rim. We were saying Burks will be a top-5 player in FTAs. Now with the new offense he may well be the #1 given Durant is injured out.

Interesting hypothesis. Some examples of players who take it to the rim and are injury prone?
