Im telling yall theyre sandbagging his wingspan too, its not 7'3", hes got truley ELITE length.

Watching the footage from this year, i think will really convince almost anyone, you'd assume a 7 footer would kind of slow up the ball movement, but its quite the opposite, he catches the ball, pumpfakes a 3, then passes the ball to the next guy in a way that only a natural could do. I think he could work a high low game with either Favors, or Rudy, and he can throw legit entry passes.

He also runs like the wind, I think theres only a handful of players in the NBA near 7' who run like him.

Rightly or wrongly I usually judge a player's Basketball IQ by the way he passes the ball. It just shows me that a player is aware of what's going on around him and he is trying to make the right player.


Marc Gasol, Kevin Love, Tim Duncan, etc, these are bigs who can pass it and it makes a world of difference to your team. It's a real pity that Favors & Kanter just aren't good passers....

Hahah I always said Guangdong paid Emmanuelle Mudiay 1.2 million dollars, because they were looking for an answer to Stephon Marbury, well it didnt work in game 1.

Starbury whooped his ***, heres their statlines;

Mudiay, who did not start, had 18 points (on 4-14 shooting), while Marbury scored 32 points (12-16 2P, 1-3 3P, 5-7 FT), with 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.

more significant than Alex Len's double double, is the fact that he played 32 minutes(In a Win vs the Champs), and Miles Plumlee played 15...

I know the Laker's shot 1-7 when they went at him the other night, He's recorded a block in every game this year too.

Was getting my costume ready while typing out my final posts yesterday, I realized shortly thereafter, theres no way Chad Ford could have Oubre outside of his top 10.

That blurb on Porzingis is pretty telling though, I agree that he'd contend for the #1 pick if he was playing in college this year he'll land safely in the top 5 or 7.

I think Porzingis is incredibly LOW-RISK, I cant figure what would curtail his effectiveness in the NBA, He's still skinny, but he's filled out plenty since last year, its one of the only legitimate concerns, and it doesnt worry me at all. As much as he will have to adjust to the NBA game, his matchup will need to adjust to him, like what we see from Rudy.

There is one player that Ive been bringing up for whats now 3 draft threads.. My player comparison is still the same(Ian Mahinimi), but hes seriously shown big improvements in each of those years.



He's also from France, he's probably great friends with Rudy as he's played on all the youth teams, and I think he and rudy would really put in yeomans work on the boards.

'Mam' Jaiteh is 6'11, 249lbs, 7'4" wingspan (D. Favors sized) He's not a great leaper, but hes strong as an ox, and he shoots exellent %'s including 76% from the line, He's a role player, and first and foremost a rebounder, but he's still young, and he seems to me, to have more upside than most of the 2nd round grade players.. I know he's ready to rebound in the NBA, hes probably been ready to rebound for 2 years now, he's been polishing finer points though.

His post moves are basic, but he's able to get good looks, and i think he's displayed some nice touch on shots around the rim, He's tough like Enes on the offensive boards, stands his ground and gets easy looks.

I actually would try to target Jaiteh with one of the last picks in the first round, but he's also a steal in the 2nd, I guess hes my Walter Tavaras of the 2015 draft.

The other 2nd rounder I have my eyes on, is Jerian Grant.

Forget what you know about Jerami Grant, It has nothing to do with Jerian, this is a 6'5 SG who can shoot the lights out, at the #55th pick I love the value, he's got a Tim Hardaway Jr type of skillset.

Jaiteh is really doing well in the French league this year. 12.6/6/1 in 22 minutes.
He's not quite as athletic as Clint Capella but 20 lbs heavier. His standing reach is unknown, but looks like he could play some center.
 
Jaiteh is great value IMO. I forgot to mention he's clearly got a very strong set of hands too. I think he's a backup but i think if he was playing college ball over here the past few years, he might have been able to fool some scouts and generate much more hype, he's a solid/effective player, not spectacular by any stretch.

Most rebounders that size and age do not shoot 75% from the line though, Id be suprised if he was shooting less than 53% from the field too, hes got good touch, and uses his massive frame to shield the ball nicely.

Clint Capela is way more athletic tbh, but thats basically why Capela was a lock for the 1st, he's got that catlike 'second jump' that they talked about with Wiggins.
