I hear Okafor may be in the same class (playing ability) as Wiggins. Can you confirm?

Absolutely not, imo.
He is a fantastic scoring big which is rare at this stage.. so who knows. As of now, I srsly don't think so.
Put it this way. If he were to be in the '14 class, I'd rank him behind both Wiggins and Parker with Randle and he a tossup at #3.

Good to know. I wish I could recall who I read or heard talking about Okafor, but they were extremely, extremely impressed by him.

As am I.. but Wiggins is a once every 15 years talent. Okafor is a once a year or two guy.. imo.

Alex Kennedy from Hoopsworld. There was a story that Okafor DESTROYED Kanter at a work out in Chicago last summer.

I've only seen Okafor in about a dozen full games.
He is very skilled for his age.. has nice size and touch.
He doesn't seem to be more than an average athlete (I could be wrong there) and doesn't seem to be quick off the floor.
I have heard mild concerns about conditioning and keeping weight off... but the dude is so young right now.

Okafor is a mini-Tim Duncan.

I can't see Johnson and Winslow both going to Arizona.

I thought I had heard Vaughn was high on UNC, but I don't really follow recruiting.

Winslow is not the most skilled player in the class, but he's one of my favorites. Poor mans MKG that does everything (except shoot). Great college type, limited potential in the NBA.

Just watched a little bit of Okafor. I agree with PKM, highly skilled, but average athlete. Looks like an adopted Gasol brother, which projects him to be a multi-year all-star, but nothing transcendent.

Too bad the Jazz don't have someone that is clearly at that level yet.

Agree with all that.

2015 thread was already started. Mods pls close. TIA.

This one will stay. That imposter thread was a joke from post #1, obvi.

I will be posting in this thread.. as I take this stuff seriously. If you don't.. feel free to post in the other one.
Thanks and have a nice day.
