Second best player... lol.

What do you consider "barely gets time on the floor anymore"? He plays 20 minutes a night. In that time he racks up damn near as many rebounds as Millsap does in 35 minutes, and about twice the blocks. I'll Crack a Beer! to your stupidity once again. I'll give you and Gregbroncs props on your constant mind numbing additions. You're both surprisingly consistent. I guess you easily forgot what LaMarcus Aldridge did to your precious. Guess who can defend LA?

Now go back to watching ESPN here and there and forgetting there's an entire league playing alongside the Jazz. Run along, son.

Call my additions mind numbing all you want but at least they are not moronic. But maybe you would like to enlighten us on who is the 2nd best player if it's not Millsap? On top of that who is the 2nd best player once this trade happens? Here is a clue it's not Afflalo or Anderson, they would not even be in the conversation for 2nd best player even after trading one of the few guys in the conversation now.

Anderson is a pretty good rebounder 6.5 in 20 minutes is nice. It's unfortunate that he seems to add little to nothing else to the game for his team. If he did maybe he would actually play more minutes.

As for Afflalo he's a good player. But your basically trading Millsap for him. He's not that good.

Overall your trade leaves us extremely thin on the front line. And the players left on the front line are all scoring challenged except Jefferson. And maybe Memo if he ever gets fully healthy and is anywhere near the player he used to be. In the west where it's the big teams that are going to be a challenge in the playoffs getting significantly weaker at the PF/C spot is not a good idea. I'm not sure if your trade even would give Anderson that many minutes. Memo, Jefferson and AK are all better front line player's than he is. He would basically take Elson's minutes while we would all of a sudden have a serious overload on wing players that all will want minutes. What are you going to do give Bell 20 Afflalo 20, CJ 20 and AK 20? None of those players will be happy with that and they would still need to find minutes for Price, Mason and Watson on the wings as well. Like I said your trade screws the Jazz.

I would be for trading Millsap, Jefferson or AK but only if we get at least equal value in return plus the team has a chance at being better and your trade does not come close.

So like I said a very bad trade by a supposed Jazz fan.

Okay in your trade why is Houston getting a bunch of talent while giving away virtually nothing. It looks like they traded courtney lee for Chandler, Randolph and Fessenko. Let's just rebuild their team for them right now. Not bad for the Jazz though I'd rather have Chandler than Gallinari. But like Franklin said Denver is hanging up on this deal.
 
We lose our second best player and a decent role player in Elson and get back Afflalo and Andersen.. wow.. You might as well trade Sap for Afflalo straight up because I would take Elson over Birdman at this point. This might be the worst trade proposal I've seen on this board. You lose a borderline all star and get a role player in Afflalo. Not to mention Hayward would rot on the bench. If we trade for a wing, it needs to be a borderline star atleast. Otherwise keep giving Hayward minutes.

As for the Love trade proposal, I would do it if it wasn't for Millsap. I think Love and Al would work in our system. Love would be nailing 3's like crazy while Jefferson would be able to operate inside easier. Not to mention it would fix our rebounding problem. The thing that holds me back on this is the lack of defense our frontcourt would have.

salaries dont need to match. nba will approve it

Jazz get: Trevor Ariza, David West
Hornets get: Mehmet Okur, Gordon Hayward


I did this trade in NBA2k11. Besides David West whining about coming off the bench, it's working out pretty good. Can't believe the CPU agreed to this. (i think they overvalued Okur)

Anyway, my new look Jazz haven't lost a game since putting Ariza into the starting lineup at the 2. Raja works well as a role player too.

Now Houston gets less, Denver gets more. Works for the Jazz because they get a good two-way player in Lee and a great shooter with size in Gallinari. Also Curry's expiring to make $$ work.

Houston gets a Center in Fes, and a young prospect in Randolph that can play the 3 or 4.

New York gets Melo.

Denver gets AK (to play 3/4), Wilson Chandler (avg. 18pts/game), and Jordan Hill (athletic big).

I'd say it's at least fair.
