I read the thread and the same people blame Kanter for every point scored. I don't know where the stats were taken that I read earlier in the thread as they were not sourced. But the only Piston big to shoot over 50% tonight was Jerbenko. Josh Smith, Monroe, and Drummond were all far below 50% from the floor.
I do not deny that every now and then Kanter has a play on defense that makes you bang your head on the table, but the hate some fans give him is irrational. He is 22 and learning a new system. He tried to hustle tonight and he shot the ball very well. Get off his back.
Hayward was something like 2-10 until the fourth quarter. You have to hand it to the guy, because he brought it when it mattered.
I have always liked Burke, but Exum seems to be improving every single game. I would still bring Exum off the bench, but there may be a time he forces his way into the starting line-up.
Way to shoot the ball Ingles.
Trade: Burke + Kanter for Greg Monroe. Would you do it?

The same Monroe that was 8 for 18 tonight. Monroe is not better than Kanter. Monroe is seeking a max contract. Why would you trade Kanter and Burke for Monroe. That is crazy talk.

There's actually no question than Monroe is better than Kanter. We shouldn't even be talking about it. But I don't like a frontcourt of Favors and Monroe.
So how exactly were we able to obtain Ingles?
Good way to put itKanter continues to be the odd-one out with this team. His offense is great, but it's unnecessary to us. We bleed buckets every time he steps onto the court.
