What's new

Gameday: Jazz hosting Clippers 11/29 7pm (mtn) ROOT

Most of our problems in PnR defense begins with Burke. I am yet to see him stay in front of Paul. It forces Kanter, who is already slow on defense as hell, and Booker to slide to block Paul's path to the rim. When Exum got subbed in, he managed to stay in front of Paul and Booker didn't have to leave Griffin. Then Exum managed to force Paul for contested 3.

Clippers an average team? They may not be playing great ball right now, but they are far far above average.

The list of accomplishments of this Clippers team since they got Paul looks worse than the list of accomplishments of the Williams-Boozer Jazz teams. And those were freaking average teams.

Having Kanter guard Griffin is inexplicable. I simply cannot understand what Quin is thinking. Why not have Trey guard him? Why not the towel boy? Absolutely ****ing ridiculous. We're better off with Kanter guarding Jordan, who isn't much of an offensive threat, while Favors guard Griffin. Also, it looks like we're stuck with the same offensively worthless second unit. Kanter and Burks should be moved to the bench. It would benefit their game (specially Burks), and it would greatly help the team.

Let's hope this isn't another night wasted on an unwatchable game.

Still have to keep Burks as a starter. It's an experiment and he is here for the long-term, good or bad.

Kanter should be on the bench for sure though, even though I do like his floor spacing a lot on the 1st unit.

You have a weird view of average, but OK.

People bashed Sloan for years for his old school ways, and maybe his style was outdated, but he got his teams to compete hard night in night out. Haven't seen that since he left.
