Who could we trade for?

I would give up a 2016 or further pick for a good starter.

This year? You're giving up a pick to devalue our own 2015 pick. I think that would be short-sighted and pretty much the opposite of how a rebuilding team should be thinking. Things could change next year, but for where this team is at now, certain moves are more contradictory to building a team than others.

I think my trade proposed trading Burke/Burks/Kanter/Pick for Jackson/Perkins.

I don't think losing 3 rotation players is going to make our team better. Guys like Clark and Evans will just play more minutes.

The Jazz have some talent on the roster. At this point, we should be making very careful and opportunistic moves to piece the right types of players together to succeed as a unit. We shouldn't be in fire-sale mode. If the Jazz are not keen on keeping Enes Kanter, then they can move him closer to the trade deadline. There are at least a handful of teams that would take Kanter in a deal. Some might even believe in him as a potential starter.

Reggie Jackson would be a good get. He's a bit undersized for the SG role though, so I think that hurts his trade value. He really should be a third guard coming off the bench, like a Jason Terry.

He can play with Exum.

Just the same, I liked your idea of taking a gamble on OKC's pick better. They might be confident enough in making the playoffs to risk losing a decent pick.

Jeremy Lin?

He had a super weird contract structure when he signed with the Rockets and he is going to make 15 million next year. The Lakers are set to lose a ton of money because of LT with that contract. Can we get him and a 1st round protected (some kind of descending protection) for Burke? I think we have enough cap-space to eat that contract and he is having a good year and could be a long-term piece.

If the Jazz wanted Lin, they could have just offered to take the contract on for less than the 1st and 2nd round picks that the Lakers took him on for. The Lakers took him because they wanted the assets. They don't care about winning or how much he costs them.

For the record, I think that Lin would be great in Quin's system.

what about Larry sanders, lots of rumors of Milwaukee shopping him?

I like the idea of rondo but don't see that happening

inspite of cy I do like porter jr.

iman shumpert I mentioned a while back

everyone knows I love mkg.

I wouldn't mind working a trade for Harrison Barnes.

I like the Lin idea.

I have thought about illyosava (sp) from Milwaukee.

This is a good one. GSW seems like they're spent Cap wise. Wouldn't mind taking Barnes off their hands. I think he could really flourish in a new environment without Iggy looking over his shoulders.

He could also potentially be a star as well.
