I have to agree his Dev. I think Penny is the best comparison that we can have at the moment. 6'6" pass first point with a great first step. Now I would chance saying that Dante has potentially a higher ceiling then Penny. Dante has court vision that you just dont find with players his age. His passing ability is going to be what sepperates him from the rest of his peers.
Also Dante seems to be far more focused on the defensive end then Penny ever was. I also like what I see from him on the boards. Although a string bean has more girth to it then what Dante has on his frame he still finds away to battle for a few boards every game.
Once he growns into his frame we could see a legit stat line like: 16ppg, 11ast, 6rbds, 2stls, 1blk. I dont expect Dante to ever become a legit scoring threat like Kobe but a pass first point gaurd that keeps his defender honest and the rest of the team worried about getting punked with a magician like pass.
I see All-Star potential in Dante and I like the way that the Jazz are easying him into the league. He is not physicaly ready to play 25+ mins. The last thing we want is a major injury to occur that takes away some of his natural athletic gifts like what happened to Penny because of a lack of muscle mass to protect him.
