No no.. it was Vivek. That's why the Stauskus pick was such a head scratcher around the league. The HAD just picked McLemore and traded for Gay who together seemed to have solidified the SG and SF pairing.

McLemore has really good size and athleticism, but he's mentally wimpy. All you need to know about him. These ahletic players, who don't have the mindset, rarely pan out.

I don't think our team could survive obe more wimp.

But McleMore is shooting 41% from 3 on 4 + attempts a game this year, so maybe you send hin to Uncle Malone's for the summer to make a man out of him. No basketball, just hunting with his bare hands.
 
McLemore has looked good when I've seen them. I'd be surprised if he were on the block.
 
Malone was about heart, desire, work ethic and beating the crap out of opponents with elbows and body checks. The first three you can't teach; players have to come into the league with it or dig down deep and find that fire. And the physicality has pretty much been banned from the league. Any player attempting to imitate Karl's style of play would foul out in 10 mins. or less.

I'm pretty sure that he was talking about hiring Mike Malone as an assistant now that Sacramento has fired him. I'd be just fine with that. Think he'd be an excellent addition to be honest. Bet he'd love Gobert.

And as for Karl Malone. . . I still contend that Quin Snyder (who preaches the importance of the P&R on offense and defense) could definitely use both Stockton and Malone as exclusive consultants/mentors to help the young guys really understand the nuances of what they executed better than any other duo - ever.

Maybe when Favors said he doesn't need a go to move, Karl just gave up.

this is an anti-Burke thread you moran. Ty had just got the HC job in Sac... thus I was saying we should send him his draft pick. Also, you've completely mischaracterized my feelings about Stauskas. Shocker. I see you've gotten Cy to bite. Shocker.
