I'm no cop hater but this makes me sick.

I'm not. I'm in favor of getting rid of stupid laws.

I think selective enforcement of laws is a major problem.

I believe that in a perfect world every law violation would absolutely warrant an arrest because to violate the law would mean that you are causing direct harm to specific people, therefore the police would be duty bound to hold you accountable.

Well yes, in a perfect world.
 
I'm all for cops ignoring stupid laws or very low level offenses. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

In Utah:

It is against the law to fish from horseback.

It is a felony to persistently tread on the cracks between paving stones on the sidewalk of a state highway.

It is illegal not to drink milk.

A husband is responsible for every criminal act committed by his wife while she is in his presence.

Alcohol may not be sold during an emergency.
