Let me clarify:

All-Star weekend he will be so dominant in the rookie/soph USA v. World game that it will be his coming out party. You know, when someone is officially announced and presented to the world/society. Jazz have no nationally televised games. Very few people watch him play outside of highlights. During this game they will see him in live action against other great young players and he and the World are going to dominate the chuckers of the USA. Rudy on a national stage is going to make a lot of people go "oh. Holy ****. This changes everything."

Saying nothing about sexuality. Doesn't matter anyway.

#22 Wayne Cooper
Points 489
Rebounds 440
Blocks 51
Steals 18
Assists 52

Wayne Cooper is perhaps the most boring player on the entire list. He was drafted out of the University of New Orleans by Golden State and was traded to Utah after two years for Bernard King in 1980 (wait, what? Bernard King played for the Jazz?) He played one season for the Jazz. He played in the NBA for 14 seasons retiring in 1992. He then went on to a couple of front office jobs, mostly for the Sacramento Kings where he remained employed for 17 years before being let go in 2013. The Jazz team he played on also included Ron Boone, Adrian Dantley, Rickey Greene, and Jeff Judkins. Awesome!

From Kevin Pelton chat at Espn

Adam (Austin)Could you rank the second-year centers (Len, Adams, Dieng, Gobbert) in terms of their two-way potential? We can throw Nurkic in there for fun if you'd like

Kevin Pelton (4:10 PM)Gobert > Nurkic > Len > Dieng > Adams. That makes it seem like I'm really down on Adams, which I'm not. I think all of those players will be quality starters.

Chad Ford thinks Giannis and Rudy Gobert would go #1 and #2 in a re-draft of the 2013 class. That's pretty impressive.

Hayward has never been our designated player and never will be. The term designated player only applies to players extended from their rookie contracts. We could sign Rudy as our designated player while at the same time signing Gordon to a 5 year max extension, if that is what we wanted.
Thanks. I didn't realize you could do both. It might come down to designating Rudy or Dante for those 5 years.
