Let's welcome him.

With a fresh roster opening, I'm told that the Utah Jazz are lining up a 10-day callup for swingman Chris Johnson of the @rgvvipers

Highlights below.

Is this the dude from Dayton? If so, I like him.

I think so, there are a lot of Chris Johnsons.

If it is him, he has a 6-11 wingspan. And averages 20+ in the dleauge.

And what is up with the lefties? Do lefties get extra credit in the advanced metrics or something?

What is the "fresh roster spot" he is referring to? Did I miss something or is it from signing Sap Jr...

6'5" with a 6'11" wingspan. He's like a mini Rudy Gobert. Let's hope he can shoot from the outside better...

Good Lord, the Jazz organization has been quite slutty this season.

Just this month:

* waiver Murry
* signed Millsap to 10-day
* signed Williams to 10-day
* signed Millsap to 2nd 10-day
* signed Williams to 2nd 10-day
* signed Millsap to multi-year
* let Williams expire
* signed Johnson to 10-day

C'mon Lindsay, there's still 4 more days in January. Get something done already!

Is Andre Dawkins still currently on an NBA roster? I have never seen him but in researching him, he seems like he'd be a good fit imo. Duke kid (Snyder's Coach K ties), shooting 45.9% from three (on 10.4 attempts per game) in d-league with 3.5 assists and 3.4 rebounds per so he can help in multiple ways. 6'8.5" wingspan for a shooting guard. I'm not sure if he's too ball dominant or not but I like what the metrics say.

He's a good shooter, and that's it. Really great kid, but he's mentally soft. I just don't see him making it, but maybe he's improved since college. Was one of Duke's worst defenders (and that's saying something).
