It's been a **** season as far as I'm concerned with Burks' injury, Hood's injury and the major question marks at point guard. But after tonight, I'm as happy as can be considering we have a true rising star in the coaching ranks as opposed to that incompetent, inept turd Ty Corbin. The Kings were disjointed, uninterested and a trainwreck the entire night. Not once did they have any discernible set offense, and we got whatever we wanted offensively from the tip until the final buzzer. I still find it cute the entire Jazz broadcast team gushes on how great of a guy he is and how much of a 'pro' he is. I'm sure he's a great guy. But he's a **** head coach in the NBA, and it's still a monumental failure he was given the Jazz gig and extended. Thank God DL came in and Greggy the bitch boy Miller was smart enough to back off.

The future in terms of the draft/offseason will be very interesting because we have some major holes to fill, but we also have some excellent pieces on all three levels of the court in place. The best part is that these guys have obviously bought into what Quin is selling (perhaps not Trey - his body language sucks a lot - so if he's not on board, kiss his *** goodbye. I still think he can be a valuable piece. Originally I thought he'd be a capable starter, but perhaps he can be the backup PG on a playoff squad when we get there). Bottom line, Coach Snyder was a ****ing homerun and the future is BRIGHT.

I'm surprised that we have play so well the last 20 games or so without Burks and Hood. Imagine if they weren't injured, I wonder how we would be looking right now.

The worst part is that since it's a brand new system it's vital they both get more experience with it. Obviously Hayward, Kanter, Favors, Gobert have gotten visibly better as the season has progressed and they've gotten more comfortable in the system. They're doing more playing than thinking, and reacting off instinct instead of calculating as Quin hopes. Having Burks (and Hood off the bench) makes our squad a lot more dynamic/flexible/dangerous. I think we'd have around 5-7 more wins had Alec not gotten hurt.. Next year could be a playoff season if he's healthy and playing to what I feel he's capable of in this offense.
