Official skills challenge, 3pt shootout and slam dunk contest

Curry will possibly go down as the best shooter ever. Lavine has hops. Beverly got lucky tbh.

Curry might be in the top five best shooters in the league, but I wouldn't say he's #1 at all. This is his fourth 3pt contest (I believe) and first time winning it. Kyle Korver is in my opinion the undisputed best shooter in the league (52% from three). Korver didn't deliver tonight, but he's over 12% pts higher than Curry's 3pt %.

I was really hoping Lavine would pull this one out

Just watching him a few times I felt that he was going to destroy the competition in the dunk contest. Seeing this is just making me marvel at his athleticism that much more. The dude just springs like a gazelle with ease.

You mean to tell me that Shabazz made an assist? That right there is the most surprising thing of All-Star break.
Lol

Hey guys, do any of you think anyone could do a front flip dunk?

Am I the only person who thought the behind the back dunk was kind of lame? I mean, it looked nice cuz every dunk LaVine does is so smooth, but a behind the back just seems like a weak version of between the legs to me.

just got to watch the highlight. had a long oversea business trip.

and i was very impressed. very effortless leaping ability. where was wiggins?

I've wondered that for years. That would be a game changer, so to speak.
It seems like it could be done. Lots of people can easily do a flip
Seems like a tall athlete could do a flip with a ball in his hands and throw down through the hoop

Just watched Oladipo's "540", and it was incredible. Unbelievable how amazingly athletic these guys are!

A front flip dunk has some serious paralyze you for life potential. Would need lots of practice in a safe environment. Plus, it seems impossible. You'd have to flip insanely fast and then still be high enough to have the ball above the rim once you flipped around. Don't think it'll ever be done without the tools that mascots use.

It's impossible.
