Ty Lawson available?

Would Kanter and Burke work straight up for Ty Lawson? Denver is supposedly retooling. They get two potentially good young players for a vet who wants out. The Jazz get what they need, a great PG who can mentor Dante, and by the time Dante is ready in 3 years, if he ever is, Lawson will be on the other side of 30. Not sure though if this is a good decision for the future, especially if Dante develops quicker than expected.

If that deal were available, you pull the trigger. The Nuggs can do better though.

He did an AMA on reddit where he was asked which team he wouldnt play for and this was his response "utah!!! the city kinda boring ---- sorry jazz fans ". Just sayin.

That Reddit comment so pissed me off. Aside from that I would love for Lawson to be our PG as he's top-10. His assist to T.O. ratio is almost 4:1.

Dude needs a boring city so he can keep his butt outta trouble. The jazz would do it in a second... They will probably move him but will get much more than this.

SLC is boring. Who cares? It's about basketball. If that trade was available I'd at least consider it.

I imagine the jazz front office about to close the deal and some intern raises his hand and says "you know he thinks SLC is boring". DL then says well eff that.

Not a huge fan of Lawson, so I'd pass. Would be interested in Faried. If they're really in "fire sale" mode AND they don't like him much. . . well. . . I'd look at it. Trick is to get him to play like he did in the World Cup over the summer. His energy and athleticism would fit well with this team IMO.

I wonder what it would take to get Lawson? If we had Lawson and a decent SG or SF (Hayward could play the other position) we would be a playoff team. No doubt about it.
