Yeah take a look at me Fishdick. I talk Jazz basketball. Id be surprised if 10% of your oosts were basketball related. You dont need to point fingers at anyone. For the record Kanters trade which is less than a month old and could be concidered the worst trade in Jazz history is still very revelent.

Rofl. Who are you?

If the Jazz didn't already have Gobert and Favors playing well on decent contracts, I'm sure the Jazz would have kept Kanter. As it stands, he's not the guy for this team to put near-max money in. The Jazz could have traded Favors instead, but opted to keep him because he fits better what Quin wants to do.

That said, yes, he appears to be playing pretty well for OKC--- 16/7/3 in 19 minutes so far today.

I'm not exactly happy with the return on investment, but I think I'll wait until I see how Kanter looks 3 years from now AND how the Jazz utilize the draft pick from the Thunder. 2017 looks to be a strong draft, so if it's conveyed then it could bring back a decent - possibly excellent player - even if it's not in the lottery.

If stats meant everything in the world then Ricky Davis was a top 5 player in the league in 2002-2003.
