    Nikola Mirotic

Fournier is under control for 3 more years at 17 (which is HUGELY valuable). No way does he get dealt for an RFA and a pure FA. If Bird Rights on either Favors or Hood were really valuable, it might be different. But the Magic have much more value with Fournier on a reasonable contract for 3...

    Nikola Mirotic

No. Mirotic is an excellent player. Not an all star, but a great compliment to Gobert and he could flourish in our system. A more athletic Memo and better playmaker, but probably not as good a shooter (though we need more career minutes to confirm this.)

JJ isn't getting it done. Has to be Favors. Favors and Bradley is a good deal for both sides.

    Nikola Mirotic

Bradley is the easiest guy to give up in this kind of deal. Especially if he's the 1st the Bulls don't get.

    Nikola Mirotic

No need to give up a 1st (even protected) in a deal for a player who is a free agent after next year, and Bulls know they can't guarantee Mirotic's deal and give him the no trade which diminishes his value. Lots of leverage on both sides of a Jazz/Bulls deal. Deal 1: Favors/Burks for...

    Eric Griffin

Almost 500k to cut Bolomboy. They're not going to do that. Neto isn't guaranteed I don't think, or his QO could still be rescinded. Cutting Neto and giving Griffin a cheaper 1 (guaranteed) + 1 (non-guaranteed) seems like a no brainer. PG is well covered between Rubio, Exum, and Mitchell

It's a mistake not to keep Griffin over Bolomboy. There's no comparison between their skill levels

[Jones]BREAKING: Jazz willing to engage Celtics in S&T talks: But Gordon Hayward must agree

Some form of Favors/Crowder swap now would make a lot more sense. Boston has no frontcourt and a glut of 3's.

    Jae Crowder

It's not about doing favors. Ainge has a dilemma. He has to dump Bradley, Smart, or Crowder onto one of the few teams with cap space (or who can create it) so he doesn't take salary back. Bradley (UFA) and Smart (RFA) are tougher because it's hard to believe anybody will offer a first for a...

    Jae Crowder

This seems doable when you factor in the Celtics can't take back salary in any deal. Not sure how many other teams have the cap space left to grab him AND will offer more than a 2nd round pick.

    STAYWARD

Yeah, the longer this drags out I think it's more likely he stays. It gets harder when you keep thinking of everything you're going to lose. And what All Star wing would leave Rudy Gobert signed clean for 4 more years? Gordon knows how freaking good Gobert is going to get.

I think Hayward is slowly coming to realize the "safe" choice is actually Boston and the "bold" choice is actually Utah and its messing up his head.

Locke just tweeted the decision isn't made yet. This rollercoaster is nuts

Can't fault the guy. Easy All Star appearances (probably starting), reuniting with his coaching father figure, playing for a storied franchise on a national stage, very good chance to make at least one Finals in the next 3 years (and just as likely get swept in 4.) He's living his dream, so be...
