nah, i just think they are doing their due diligence by bringing in Maluach.

there are going to be some damn good players available at 21. i don't love this draft at the top, but 15-25 is loaded with talent.

assuming tj has actual knowledge of what the jazz are thinking, it sounds like maybe the jazz feel Tre will be off the board by 5. granted i'm reading a lot into some fairly vague comments from a reporter who may or may not know **** about the jazz thought process.

for what it's worth, i agree with you here. if Kas is successful, i think they will have play a similar role - i'm just saying it will take a lot of improvement as a shooter to reach podz's level- though as Naos pointed out, he's such a great passer, he probably doesn't ever NEED to reach that...

most shooters are in that 37 to 39% range. and most guys who shoot 44% in college are going to come down from that a bit. iow, it just makes sense to project a 40+% guy in college to around 38% as that's where most good shooters land. the issue is Kas. it seems like a stretch and honestly...

i haven't seen grill much - physically, athletically and as a shooter, he reminds me a bit of caruso. any chance he has that kind of defensive potential?

i mean i guess one could project Kas's 3pt% at 44% and then maybe we could trade up to 2 to get him.

no question about it. i'm a fan of Kas. just has a different, and honestly pretty unique skillset.
