is that a theory or was that something that was reported?

    Ace Bailey ROY watch

it was that you said "depend on" him to create shots" really the only guys this team depends on to create shots are key and lauri - the two leaders of the team. everybody else (including Ace) either just picks their spots or relies on other dudes to set them up. and yeah, he wasn't drafted...

    Ace Bailey ROY watch

seems normal for a kid who just turned 19 to not be ready to lead an NBA team. to need teammates to set him up. dunno.

Okay, Cameron Carr. Sheesh. 3-3 from three including one from about 27 ft and another from about 35 feet - with a hand in his face on each one. singlehandedly keeping baylor in the game.

    Going through motions

interesting you lumped collier in with that group. he has his deficiencies, but the dude plays with fire. just the other day he got in a little dust up over who got to hold the basketball during a break in play.

Keyontae George progression watch this year

you call it cherry picking, i call it raising the bar*. you came up with the stats, i just increased them to the level he's at. all that remained were league MVPs. *sure, yeah, it's cherry picking.

except, i will say, you mentioned that yesterday, and said something along the lines of "once he drives and draws a foul, then..." i have no idea where the post was, maybe you remember saying that, but he went out and did exactly that last night against GSW. so again, while he's not good at...

Keyontae George progression watch this year

if you move it to 30% ast% and TS% 59 there are even fewer - granted NBA.com hasn't updated since last night, so it won't show Key at 59% TS, but that's where he is. If you move it to 33% ast (again, need NBA.com to update) with the 59% TS, it's Key and a group of MVPs - Luka, Shai, Jokic...

and key shoots and makes a lot more FTs. they aren't the same, but they are having comparable third seasons and Key is younger than mitchell was.

I don't disagree, but i feel like he's making strides - perhaps toddler strides - in this area as the season progresses. we're seeing him attack closeouts and just put the ball on the floor and create more and more. again, it's not a lot, but it's happening.

It’s just a really bad defensive team. Thank goodness, tbh- I haven’t looked at numbers, but I’d guess their offense at least NBA average. Which would mean at least a .500 record if their defense were worth a ****.

Keyontae George progression watch this year

key just needs shots to go in the basket. he can create looks at all three levels and he's a plus passer/playmaker. he just needs the ball to go through the hoop at a much higher rate than it did his first two years.

it will be interesting to see if Bidunga can play himself into the back end of the lottery. he's added solid production this year to his elite length and athleticism.

overall, carr had a good game and it's hard not to be impressed with him. didn't attempt a three. i really want him to be good - it's a fun archetype.

Carr struggling to create his own shot today. 14 points on 13 shots and just looked terrible in trying to force one going one on two in transition while he had an open teammate standing at the three point line. He has elite length and athleticism and he plays relatively hard and that will take...
