Hood is more important than you think

Happy you believe we ought to draft Frank. I watched the video of him one-on-one against Okafur, and he more than held his own against the projected 2-3 pick in this draft, offensively and defensively. He has much better lateral quickness than I was led to believe by the Frank haters. People grumble about lack of quickness, defensive problems, yadda yadda, and they could just as well be talking about Nowitzki, and look how he turned out. Frank's the man, Tank on it. Another reason he'll be drafted by Jazz is that he hasn't been brought in for a work-out. The Jazz never draft players who come in for a work-out. If Frank's not available, Payne -- we've had great luck with a relatively unknown PG from a mid-tier school.

I'm excited for Burks and Hood. It's a great system for wing players.

Good competition between them, nice that they both offer something unique and different. I like the idea of a lineup of Exum, Burks, Hood, Hayward, Favors.

I wonder if he will be able to handle Okafor in 3 years when Okafur is 22 and Frank is 25.

Most people here are extremely high on Hood (me among them) so I hate this thread title.

Okay, so let's say you put the college Rodney Hood ver. on Mario Hezonja's team and he played the same amount or a little bit more minutes; would he be more effective and did way more than him? I wonder what guys thought is on this.

This is so hypothetical that it doesn't really matter.

No matter how high on Hood you are, he is still more important than you think. Neo in the Matrix important.
