What's new

Blow it up?

Surely the Jazz FO think:

1) We have two guys (Gobert and DM) we are keen to build around
2) Exum could be a key member moving forward
3) Ingles is prob a key glue guy
4) Everything else is negotiable (even Ingles obviously)

Do everything you can to get Love or the equivalent.

This is going nowhere fast.

And I won't gloat just after two bad games - but I don't trust this new Ricky 'Ray Allen' Rubio thingy

Agree but Love is too old now.

What is the point of getting rid of Exum at this stage??
This team eventually needs to get to the ft line. Surely that was one area he was projecting to improve upon.

Not advocating trading him but his cap hold is like 15M.

Could not have said it better.

Overly-literal? What you're talking about isn't blowing the team up. Plain and simple.

It's just a catchier(and shorter) thread title than "Trade Favors, Hood, Burks, and anyone not named Donovan or Rudy(or Joe). As I mentioned it's more of a grenade than nuclear weapon.

Not blow it up but retool. Rid ourselves of Favors for a stretch 4 and Hood for a more consistent less injured scorer. Test the trade market for Exum. Package Burks and possibly Joe Johnson ...

Why on earth can't DM and Hood coexist exactly? This has been a weird narrative among fans.

I think they can coexist easily. But I'm not confident that Hood will ever be healthy enough long enough to become consistent, or even if he is healthy I'm not necessarily confident he'll be consistent. Will he change?

DM ain't a PG, at least not yet. I don't see Hood starting at the 3, and I don't know that he's going to be happy coming off the bench. For now though, you have to re-sign Hood and see where things go. I doubt there's deal out there that would be worth trading him for.
