That's cool. But I've learned this season maybe more than any other how meaningless these awards are. Heavily biased paid over-glorified fans somehow choose who wins these. Should be only 1/3 of the vote at most. Should be 40% player vote, 40% coaches vote then 20% media. That would actually mean something

Or it should be limited to 5 people that cover each team, with an extra person for every 10 wins in the regular season. Those 5+ people are voted on each year by a media caucus meeting where the representatives are voted on by the local media. We would have committees oversee the funding that goes into these votes, we would have one of the big 4 accounting firms oversee the voting process, and there would be strict guidelines as to who can donate as how much to these campaign funds.

This will fix everything.

Nice. :D

Rudy thanking his mother peaked my curiosity about her and Rudy's backstory. I found a photo, she is attractive and I think rudy got her eyes. From what I read and heard she was a good parent, and did those things good parents do-set expectations, made adjustments specific to Rudy's needs and sacrificed. Rudy resembles his father very much, I wonder if he has any relationship with his father.

I have never seen rudy talk about his father. First, he didn't take his father's name (Bougarel), Gobert is her mother's name. Then it seems that little Rudy grew only with his mom since his dad decided to return to Guadeloupe.

this listened to Rachel Nichols on the Jump who said she voted for Embiid I doubt she's ever watched any Jazz games, she thinks cause they had similar rebound / blocked stats that it was a line ball decision, despite Lowe stating exactly how epic our D was with Rudy on the floor this year. Never talked about Hayward last year and now he's in Boston she's practically gagging about him every bloody week
