What's new

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

Joe Ingles. Royce O'neale. Ekpe Udoh. Possibly Georges Niang. Possibly Stanton Kidd. The Jazz find hidden gems without needing to use second round picks. It seems like their philosophy in the second round is.... if there is a player that we believe in available then we will take him (even trade up for him if necessary), if we don't have faith in anyone available let's trade the pick and keep the roster spot open so that we're able to choose from a larger free agency pool. It's been successful so far so I don't have a problem with DL's decision.

Udoh was a first round draft pick. Niang was a star in college. hard to try to say Jazz coached them up to the level they at now. Also I have seen Kidd in college. Not a NBA player. Gleague player all the way

I believe Stanislav Medvedenko may be available.

Svi was criminally underrated by draft prognosticators. It was obvious to me he was going to be special (I watched every game he played in a Kansas uniform).

Elite 3 point shooter, sneaky athletic, decent defender (totally shut down Bagley in the Elite 8), and had four years of being a starter at a high major school but still only 20 years old.

But he had alligator arms so couldn’t possibly be good.

Draft people overvalue and undervalue some pretty weird ****.

IF you really saw all his games then you would know he wasn't a starter until last year. He was buried on the bench those first 2 years

I have watched every KU basketball game since the 2012-13 season.

You are correct he didn’t start every game his first two seasons (though he started at least some games all four years at KU, IIRC).

He was not “buried on the bench” a la Tyler Self and co.
