This should be a fun. Jazz need to bounce-back, and the Kings are coming off of a spectacular win vs OKC who was one of the hottest teams in the league. Jazz fans wouldve enjoyed last nights Kings game, Westbrook was talking **** all game long, mocking Fox with this hand gesture like he was rocking a cradle, and they beat them AGAIN after hanging 131 on em in regulation for their home-opener. It looked a bit like the when the Jazz unnerved the Thunder in the playoffs. All the techincals occurred right after a few Westbrook possessions that ended in misses, he was fuming about it.

This game features probably the two best guards from the 2017 draft. The way Fox is playing this year, he looks like he shoulda went #1 (which is something I long suspected and tried to tell y'all years in advance..) Everyone said this kid can't shoot but all these other top guards 3pt % are trash compared to his already and he's just 20 years old.... Teams like the Lakers and Suns ****ed up royally letting him drop to 5.

Marvin Bagley was on fire in the 4th quarter last night... Iman Shumpert scored like 21 points int he first quarter.. The Kings actually had 30 something points on the board 6 minutes into the game it was crazy... There's a lot of moving parts involved with that young team, Harry Giles got punked royally by Favors in the first matchup, lets see how he responds. Buddy Hield has been pretty damn good of late too. Kings are very dangerous, the league's taken notice, If u don't get back on defense vs the Kings they'll make u look stupid. Wonder what this spreads gonna be.

Interesting thing to watch is the Kings have won almost all their games that Bjellica scores 10 or more, and lost almost all the ones he hasn't.

how will Utah pick themselves off the mat after an embarrassing loss?

Cursed game thread. Someone make an actual good game thread please. Thanks.

Good lord... Mitchell only shoots 4.4 FTA's on 18.6 FGA's? How? Not quite Exum or Lonzo ball status, but sheesh -- Is he getting no calls or something?

Jazz have looked like Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. no in-between. If we can just get a little consistency, whether on offense or D. I think it would go a long way. What do you all think is causing our slummy play? One thing, combination of many? Ingles looks like Cinderella man half way though round 10, beat up and on the brink of losing it. (too many minutes, too large of a role?) Mitchell either needs to draw more fouls or the refs need to respect the dude more. (my rant is over) GAME ON!

Disrespectful... PGAB knew this gamethread in Junior High and all of you are just seeing it now... you need to pay attention... he is once again spot on about this thread and its about time you start recognizing.

Interesting. I started a post last night saying the same thing. Glad someone else sees it.

One of the halmarks of Quins teams the past 2-3 years was keeping games close giving Jazz a chance to win. This year it feels like a blow out in either direction is more likely than a close game.

Christers, when is the last time the Jazz played the Kings with a worse record than their opponent? Are we talking C-Webb, Christie, and Bib-dawg days?

Wow, using a game thread to gloat, and a day in advance!
I agree Kings are much better and have been playing some good ball. If we have a general lack of interest such as we did in the Pacers game we will get blown out on our home floor. I just hope we play up to our perceived potential. (This may have happened twice this season).

I cannot understand how they allow themselves to sleepwalk through games. You'd think they'd have learned their lesson from the previous year to not do that and to not take games for granted but I guess not.

Last night they said Quin was really pushing transition defense as the number 1 thing... and then they turned it over a billion times and allowed like 16 transition points in the first quarter. If they let the Kings get out and run, they're screwed. The Kings even played us really tough the last two years when they sucked.

I'm glad Fox is playing well since he seems like a great dude and I thought he could be a culture change guy for the Kings. I was pretty wrong about Hield though. I thought his lack of handle and athleticism would prevent him from being a good player, but his shooting seems to be so good it doesn't matter. It is kind of funny though, his handle is still pretty bad though and his only go-to move is his stepback going to his left, just like in college lol.

I don't see anything in Fox's toolbag Mitchell doesn't have. Here he gets 23 and 10 against a fairly tough Memphis defense.

I want to win a championship. We need a superstar. Mitchell isn't good enough. Gobert is great but we'll never win a championship with Rudy as our best player
