They should and likely will lose this series, but that comeback was legendary. Out of gas, completely depleted, on the road, doesn't matter. Steph and Klay have balls of titanium.

Those guys are champs. Probably not this year, but in general - they are ****ing champs.

I hate them as much as anyone. Probably more since I live here in the Bay. But I respect greatness when I see it and that has been a very impressive dynasty to witness.
 
Neither I care, nor do I want to give them credit. **** GSW. And wtf someone creating a new thread to congratulate them. There is already one thread dedicated to the playoffs.

Toronto missed plenty of open shots (although there were some dubious calls in their favor)
 
KD tore his Achilles... i hope he takes a huge max from GS and they pay him while he rehabs.

Not official news but this....

NO! We need KD to leave GSW and take a max with another team. That furthers the Jazz chances to land another player. GSW doesn’t have Mac to sign someone not already on their team.

They would be in mega tax... he will be out a year... they won’t be able to use MLE... either way... he likely isn’t a problem next year.

Sucks. I feel bad for him.

Interesting. I’ve ruptured both of my achilles and I saw this same thing happen in slow-motion to Hood early in the previous season and I said he’d ruptured his achilles. Alas, he hadn’t. That said, I haven’t followed anything tonight other than seeing the box score.
 
Oof. Shams said an Achilles injury. Not good.

I’m not worried about him being a problem. I’m worried about him eating up a max slot to push players like Harris, Kemba and DLo down a step.

GSW doesn’t have the cap space to sign a max player if he leaves. (Per Tony Jones Twitter). We need him to eat up a max slot on the Nets or Knicks.
 
After seeing Bob Myers choke back tears through that whole press conference, there's no way it's not a torn achilles.

I feel for everyone involved. Clearly, KD's heart has been misjudged - I give him credit for being out there when clearly he shouldn't have been.

Nick nurse helped with a weird *** time out call when they were up six and had all the momentum of the game, they came out and gave gsw nine straight points
 
Other possibilities. Durrant signs with the Knicks, they tank and get another top 4 pick and sign another max player next season. Durrant isn't a lock to Golden State next year.

He seemed like he felt a little guilty... right or wrong... wonder if KD had independent doctors advising him too.

Tbh, I don’t care what “other” possibilities there are. As long as he eats up on of the max contracts out there. One the GSW don’t have. We need him to sign elsewhere.

Yeah he won’t get the cousins treatment... makes it tough for him to team up with someone though. They have to wait to get full KD.
