We signed Jeff Green

Jeff green is a clutch player against top competition. A definite player you want on a contender
Jeff Green is also notoriously inconsistent who looks like one of the best PFs in the league one game before no showing for the next 3 - 4.

It's a nice signing for the minimum to help out the PF rotation but he's not going to be a game changer over the course of the season, and he's proven to be fairly unreliable in playoff series outside of a game here or there.

I’m also reaching out to Iggy’s people now. It’s expected he’s waived by the Grizz and signs with the Lakers...but...we have a hell of a team in place. You never know. His last contract was really effing good and he may take the VM to ring chase here.

Remind him the Jazz facilitated the move that took him to Golden State, and during the season he could have every Sunday off.

Ok pickup. Would’ve rather had Marcus Morris. Can we still get him?

Need to another another guard. Cmon get Caruso.

I like the idea of TJ McConnell as a 3rd string guard type guy, mainly from a lockerroom perspective more than anything else but he can play when needed

Green started 44 games for the Wizards last season -- his most since 2014-15 -- and he averaged at least 10 points and three rebounds for the second straight year. In joining the Jazz, he figures to slot into a backup role at both forward spots, which could afford him minutes in the mid-20s.

I think the jazz needed a 10 year vet so his salary would only count half against the cap

Iggy’s made over 150M in his life. Time to take the vet minimum from Utahr, Andre.

I think we need to move on from this idea that Exum will get dumped into space. I think Green is our nominal starter. But I’m down with your vision (I think, I still don’t know enough about Morris).

I would love to be wrong about anything regarding Exum.

Yeah, Exum isn’t going anywhere. The Jazz desperately need him to blossom and now. If Conley plays as good as we all hope he does, he’s only here for one season when we let some other chump overpay him when he opts out.

If Exum can show us anything, he becomes our starter in 2020.

Dumping Bradley into some random TPE should get the Jazz to at least $3 million after waiving Neto, right? I think that might get it done, especially while the Lakers wait out Kawhi.

I think like 2.5M... but offer a long term deal and you could get to 4/10.5M and put a player option in there... you just have to get him to sign it and then his caphold effs up their plans...
