Welp.. there's the verdict.

Can't say I'm surprised.

Still feel though that in these type of cases the deceased really has no voice.. especially the baby in this case. Nobody would ever know what had really happened to her and that's really really sad.

Especially the baby? Was someone else deceased?

Guilty of abuse of a corpse, but not murder or manslaughter.
Yeah not enough evidence the other way. But of course there wouldn't be because 1 month had passed since the baby was buried and all you've got left are skeletons and you can't tell whether the baby was a stillborn or was alive.
 
Also interesting that the Judge gave the instruction that if they think she was negligent while carrying the baby she cannot be found guilty if they think the baby was dead because of it.

He gave the example of someone who was doing drugs and had the baby been affected by the drug and born dead, that the mother is not liable.

Damn.. didn't know that was the case.
