Healthiest countries in the world.... USA ranks 35th

It's a tax on the $ you make over a certain amount. In your example it'd be the $2,000 from 29k to 31k (which is currently taxed at 12%). So it'd be a raise in taxes of $360 at your proposed 30% (I unfortunately haven't seen an actual # for this).

Sure, it could be done poorly, but in all the proposals I've seen from anyone moderately progressive it's a net benefit for a large majority of Americans.
If you don't mind how much did you pay percentage wise to taxes? Me, I paid 22% without state taxes. And no I don't make a ton of money.

My wife and I file jointly in the 12% bracket. I still have to figure out the state tax (prior to this year I lived in a state without income tax).

Don’t be arrogant and learn about the policies of those you criticize. You think you’re going to draw people towards Trump’s cause with the same attitude that your leader shows?
No, I don't. If one of the strongest economies in history, lowest unemployment rates, and q country running the best it has in decades doesn't make people happy, nothing will.

PS Trump's medical plan is non-existent so it's kind of hard to will people to vote on something that doesn't exist

Exactly, a non-existent medical plan. In other words he doesn’t give a **** about this topic.

Lol now imagine the tax hikes he promises is 30% so you are now paying $10,000 in taxes making $21,000 a year lol.

That's quite an imagination. No one will minimum at that rate, and you ignored the standard deduction and the EIC entirely.

I certainly hope you don't do taxes in your day job.

You'll see. 1.7 trillion, more than double the military budget, doesn't just grow on trees.

Lol

Using the Tax Foundation’s wealth tax model, and after factoring in the macroeconomic feedback effects, we estimate that Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s proposal would raise about $2.2 trillion and Sen. Bernie Sanders’ plan would raise $2.6 trillion over the 10-year period from 2020-2029.

The same macro-economic feed backs that reduce the increase in GPD by less than half a percent? So, their plans don't change very much?

Nope, sure doesn't. I expect my taxes will rise significantly. I don't have a problem with that.
And I'm 100% happy with my current healthcare and think it's ridiculous that I'm going to be on the hook for free loaders healthcare, unemployed people's healthcare, illegals(bless their souls) healthcare and downright irresponsible people.

Does that mean I hate these people or don't think healthcare can be improved massively upon? No. I'm just saying it's not my responsibility to be taxed substantially for it. Why must my life and financials change dramatically?

And I think a silent majority agree with me and will take Trump's do nothing approach over "free" healthcare any day of the week.

It's always so amusing to hear the privileged vilify those who were less fortunate. How smug you are.

Not to mention, ignorant. You're already on the hook for the healthcare coverage impoverished, the unempolyable, the the undocumented immigrants, and the downright irresponsible. That's what Medicaid and the 330 programs cover.

The people without health insurance are the ones working 50+ hours at two different minimum wage jobs. Those are the people you are spitting upon and whom you don't think deserve any help.

The same society that allowed you to earn your living is the one that doesn't allow the working poor to be secure in their life.

I spent over 7 years working for Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation and Touchette Regional Hospital. As, respectively, a chain of FQHCs and a safety net hospital, our primary clientele were the impoverished, the undocumented, the homeless, etc. I would run reports on who had insurance and their reported income levels.

I will repeat this again, so hopefully you will engage with it rather than dismiss it. When you talk about whose health insurance you don't want to help cover, you should remember it:
