Will Kanter be assasinated?

Now you know why he always sets moving screens!

It's harder to hit a moving target........ nevermind.....goodnight......

As much as I hated to admit it. Kanter got stuck with freaking Ty Corbin as a coach. I'd be a pissed player too.
He's the ONLY pro athlete to speak the truth and he's winning new respect.
Props to him.

China calls the NBA and demands them to fix this.

Kanter gets into the game and is immediately called for a technical - the ref accuses him of blowing a fart and he's somehow ejected despite it being only one technical.

Wouldn't surprise me. Good on Kanter.

Didn't he speak out against Erdogan in Turkey as well? If he pisses off the Saudi's its pretty much bring your own bone saw and car boot.
He listed everyone by name. The Saudi king, too.

Celtics games are banned in China no idea why. Is it so Chinese people can't see him play? **** Celtic fans don't see him play, he's played 5 minutes all season.

Personally I don't care for how the NBA and ESPN have mixed politics with sports but what makes it worse is the blatant hypocrisy in how the NBA has done so. Never been a Kanter fan but I love the fact that he is speaking out on the China issue.

Sport and politics will always be mixed. Waving your national flag and competing in national teams at the Olympics, playing anthems before games these are inherently political acts. You can have sports without anthems, Olympics without national teams and so on but we don't and that's political.

Should athletes have a voice? I would say yes, many of them come from backgrounds and a class status that normally would mean they are voiceless, so they should speak out. Nobody is forcing anyone to listen to them.

Sports and politics have never been mixed like they have the last few years. Individual athletes speaking out is not the issue and never has been. The league jumping full force into controversial political stands is not in the same solar system as waving a flag or Olympic pride. That is fine if you like it but for me it is totally whack. And the NBA has done so in a hypocritical way which is where Kanter has it right.
