What's new

Last good song you listened to?

For some reason this sound never works for me. I think Nightwish is another band like this. It's weird how our "tastes" to sound can be so unique.

Tatiana deserves one more IMO :p

I actually got a really bad vibe from Nightwish the first time I heard them, so even tho they're the kings of the symphonic metal genre, which I enjoy, I really dislike them.

What about Bloodywood?

Or Leprous? Practically a religious moment the first time I heard them.

I enjoyed both of these. The first gives me vibes of this song.

Leprous sounds good, but it's the type of song I think I'll appreciate more after multiple listens.

I like his earlier, less commercial work....
Interesting story there.

I, of course, prefer the Tremonti material. Especially his/their first album All I Was. Though there are great tracks on all five of his albums… but I digress.

This stuff is a fundraiser project he did for Downs Syndrome research. Two years ago he and his wife had a daughter with DS.
He had also been told a lot by fans and music critics alike that his voice would probably work well with some Sinatra songs. So he explored it - it went well - so he created this album. It’s pretty good stuff. Gave my Mom chills, and she used to listen to Sinatra back in the day.
