The second part of the season may be strange. Trade at dealine and i see many teams finally starting to loose to try to go in the lottery. For us, still ahrd to tell, will depend of what happen in the next 2 weeks. We may trade 2 or 3 players and tank hard or make a run. Time will tell.

Kuminga/Moody are both intriguing to me. So is Jovic. Not interested in Wiseman with how good Kessler looks. Hopefully the Jazz can snag another solid young player with upside if they do move Beasley.
Hopefully the market for guys like Beasley, Conley, Olynyk and THT are actually overheated. Wouldn’t mind seeing deals happen for any or all of them. Vando if the price is right, but I might be tempted to hold onto him and then try to use his very reasonable salary to move up in the draft if an opportunity arises.

I’ve said it a million times already, but I want nothing to do with Duncan Robinson. There better be a lot of picks for giving up Beasley and KO and taking on Robinson, especially if they don’t want to give up Jovic.

The Miami deal is fine depending on the picks we get. If you think we pick up Malik’s option next year then he has 1.5 years left on his deal… Duncan has 2.5 years left and the final year is 50% guaranteed… it’s an awful deal… it has the ability to recover some value… the difference between the two players is certainly not as big as some might think.
I think it’s at least one unprotected pick to get it done… I’d say swap rights with the Brooklyn pick as well… that’s kind of the minimum I’d think DA would take back. I think Duncan could do pretty well in our offense and have a revival. This would be a big tank move though as Duncan is out a month or so.

Not my idea, so cannot answer that. But "we need a 3 point shooter bad so we will give you this 3 point shooter in return" doesnt make perfect sense.
Because it doesnt hurt to ask?
