Good for him. I wouldn't have recommended it myself, but happy to see him have a chance here.
I'm curious why the Jazz have gone with 10-day contracts with relatively well-known entities as players. Must not be too impressed with the landscape for players who haven't yet been in the league.

this but Jackson is deserving of a financial reward... so whatevs. They are just 10 day deals so we can see what guys get cut over the next week or two... might find a better guy to take a flier on later. No games are being played for like half of these contracts so its good to give Frank a little dough for participating in our G League program.

I think he will make more money on the 10 day than the annual wage for GLeague.

I cannot tell if this means Sexton will get the rest he needs for the next week,& so they can take fliers on choke artists in previous situations, to help the late season tank. Or is it, that they just want some defensive help, to try to make the playoffs and one of the two will be signed for the rest of the season before the 1st.

I think his health has held him back somewhat. Would like to see what he does if he’s fully healthy. Liked that they signed him to the Stars. Like that he’s getting a 10 day contract. Good for him.

Hopefully this ends up being one of those underrated moves. I’d really like to see him do well.

He will likely rarely see the court. I would expect him to sit on the bench for his 10 day duration and if they pick him up on a 2-way or whatever he would likely spend most of the rest of the season in the G league.

I would like to see both Frank and Dunn be given some run in the show to see what the Jazz have.

I have played against scrubs myself
they will if we are tanking resting Sexton, but it wont be for the purposes of keeping both, maybe one thats it

I think Frank will get some minutes. I like Frank and hope it works out for him. My son played ball with Frank and I have always been a fan.

I don't . I think both just wanted a fast payday and neither expect to be retained. All they are doing is hoping for a 2nd 10 day after the first one.

I just saw an interesting blurb on Hoopsrumors that the Jazz and Juan Toscano-Anderson are in talks about a buy out. I wonder if the rest of the season will be about as many 10 day deals that the Jazz can sign.
