the deal is Westbrook for Dunn (not fully confirmed, but confident). I'm guessing both sides are trying to find a 3rd team to take Russ, but I'm also guessing there is some sort of agreement in place if they cant find that team they will just trade him to Utah w/ a second rounder and Utah will waive him.

How many times are we going to waive that guy? Sheesh! We should keep him to escalate the tank.

My hope is that we just make the annual waiving of Westbrook a state holiday. . .
 
Heard Law Murray on the Athletic pod… sounds like Dunn for Westbrook and we waive Westbrook lol. Is this the last time we waive him? I hope not. Likely pick up a second for our trouble so that’d be okay I suppose.
 
Maybe Dunn didn’t want to come back, but wouldn’t we rather pay him that money to actually play for us as opposed to using it to just cut Westbrook again?
