No, the Jazz don't want Dunn back and I doubt he wants to be back all that much if the plan is to play young and get losses.Maybe Dunn didn’t want to come back, but wouldn’t we rather pay him that money to actually play for us as opposed to using it to just cut Westbrook again?
I think holding onto him was the Jazz playing both sides. If they were able to successfully pull off value buys that built a strong team, they bring him back. If they cant they let him walk or facilitate a s&T for second rounder(s).
