I almost always appreciate the diverse views on this site. I just wanted to wish everyone (on all sides and down the middle—even Denver fans) a safe and happy 4th. This is a good year to take stock of all we love about our country and community. No one knows better than Jazz fans that in a contest someone always comes in 2nd. Let’s hope we can all extend grace to our brothers and sisters come November.
 
Losing Hayward on the 4th is still a vivid memory for me. I remember I was visiting family in Utah and I was at a park when the news broke. I can picture everything going on around me. I didn't realize how traumatic that was until now, being so long ago and still thinking about it.
 
Happy 4th of July!
My work bought us pizza but I had already eaten my lunch from home. Going to resist the urge to eat free pizza for dessert

I was unable to resist. Went and had a totally unnecessary slice.
I have a hard time passing up free.
