LOL... I literally had him ranked at 20 on my board. You literally said he should have been closer to 20 TODAY!

When he exceeds "really good third big status" please go take your victory laps.
 
Victory laps about someone's luke warm takes after a couple exciting summer games is a bit confusing.

I really like Flip and have felt I am higher on him than most here even during SLC, but this feels like too much of an over correction

Yeah, because we got some clowns who were hating on him a week ago who are now comping him to Jokic/Dirk. Clowns will be clowns. The ones who have been consistent deserve a victory lap.

NBA GMs make a player the 32nd overall pick.

One guy has player ranked 20th... "hater... boo this man he sucks"

One guy has player ranked 15th... "I am super genius who must be worshipped.... where are my flowers".

And all of this over a couple good summer league games. Got it.
 
I liked what I saw with Flip, but summer league is just a summer league. It doesn't really mean much. Remember when Tim Duncan getting owned by Ostertag? I read stories about it, and Wemby kinda playing bad too, last year. Some players are more fitted for season games, maybe it's because much better players for assistance and support.

I have no idea why you actually believe your first sentence. NBA GMs dont have a consensus board they all draft from. A player could be 20th on 20/30 boards and fall to 32 due to him being the #2 pick for all those teams until he finally gets picked.

Just hold the L.

I have no idea how you don't see it. Was one team or GM making every selection from 15-31? No they collective vote and show their hand with who they picked.

I get you are desperate for wins, but declaring wins/losses based on a slight difference in draft ranking and some summer league games is as dumb as saying we should give $80M to a guy based on a preseason game.

I'll gladly accept an L when the time comes but until then I don't have hands for an imaginary L... My hands are full with all these bags of Ws I gotta carry all the time.

It doesn't take any gymnastics at all... you are just running into a brick wall for no reason.
