Oh ya and trump got less votes than Hillary and sleepy Joe lol. Ya boy ain't popular. You think he is because you are being lied to.

lol…

“Only MAGA. Who else can fill up big places like this at 3 o’clock in the afternoon?” Trump asked the crowd.

Also, that isn't the brag he thinks it is. 3 in the afternoon most people are at work or doing something productive with his lives. He is basically saying "my supporters have nothing better to do at 3 oclock in the afternoon"

Why do so many people insist on lying about this stuff. Aid comes in pieces, not in million dollar grants to every man woman and child all at once. It's no different than any other drastic emergency. And by the way the total so far is well over $10 million just in aid to clean up the area and support restoration if infrastructure. Quite a bit more for individual help both already given out and on the way.
Over a billion dollars of fema funds spent on migrants and now there isn't enough money according to mayorkas to get through the season.

The thing that FEMA does when they run out of money, which they do almost every other year (under Obama, Trump, and Biden) is they ask for more money.
That is great and all, but given that resources are limited, should FEMA be prioritizing funding to support foreign national who have committed the crime of illegally entering the United States over tax-paying Americans hit by a natural disaster? FEMA was set up with the intent of helping tax-paying Americans hit by a natural disaster. It was you in another post who highlighted aid to Ukraine coming from a different pot of money than was FEMA funding. In this case, FEMA funds were raided and now there isn't enough. Don't you think complaining about this is valid?

No one is complaining about that. They are sky is falling because Kamala-ing. Quite different.

Yep, at this point I am pretty convinced that Kamala is responsible for the economic crash in 2008, failure to prevent 9/11, the Iran-Contra affair, takes all the extra socks everyone is missing in the drier and was the one on the grassy knoll. I am sure I missed a few things there in between too, but she is probably responsible for all of those too.

I see. You find it unfair to blame the so-called Border Czar who failed to hold the number of foreign nationals illegally crossing the border to the level held by the previous administration and the subsequent drain on resources stemming directly from that failure which has manifested as a shortfall in aid to taxpaying Americans effected by the recent hurricane. I find it completely fair to hold the so-called Border Czar responsible for the downstream effects of her abject failure.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/harris-surveys-helene-aftermath-georgia-221351151.html (spoiler alert. Trump shows no empathy and just points blame and uses anger and acts like a douche and Harris shows empathy and gratitude)

Against a backdrop of felled trees in Augusta, Georgia, the vice president telegraphed solidarity as she spoke about the assistance the administration is providing to communities devastated by the severe weather that tore through the southeastern United States last weekend. She thanked local emergency responders for stepping up, even as their homes and communities have been destroyed.

The Democratic nominee's approach offered a stark contrast to the overtly political posture Donald Trump took during his visit to Valdosta, Georgia earlier this week, when he accused President Joe Biden and his administration for failing to deliver the aid needed by the community. It's a sentiment even the state's Republican governor did not share, and during her visit on Wednesday, Harris praised Gov. Brian Kemp for his leadership.

Her remarks, which did not mention Trump, followed a briefing from local officials at the Augusta Emergency Operations Center. She also met with affected families and business owners and visited a distribution center where she handed out food. The Augusta events were coordinated through the White House, not her campaign.

Trump took a different tack when he deviated from his prepared remarks on Monday, suggesting that Biden was “sleeping,” criticizing Harris for attending fundraisers in California and a rally in Las Vegas during the early storm recovery efforts and calling her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, “Tampon Tim.” (of course name calling. trumps MO) He also repeated a false claim that Biden hadn’t spoken with Kemp — even though the governor himself said that he had and that he appreciated the federal disaster assistance.

It mirrored the posture Trump often took during his presidency and has taken as a candidate: using the spotlight to criticize his opponents rather than turn the public attention on the communities affected by a disaster. In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump again tried to politicize this latest disaster by falsely claiming that the Biden administration and North Carolina Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper were “going out of their way not to help people in Republican areas.”

“But some lawmakers from disaster-prone states — on both sides of the aisle — were aghast this week at the lack of additional dollars for FEMA’s already depleted disaster relief fund and other federal disaster programs. Many of them were incensed that the typically bipartisan priority had fallen victim to partisan squabbles at such a dire time.

Indeed, as the House and Senate’s top four leaders met last weekend to negotiate a deal to keep the government funded, they were forced to acquiesce to the demands of Congress’ most conservative fiscal hawks, whose votes were thought to be pivotal for passage. They quietly stripped the CR of almost all supplemental funding, including for FEMA, according to multiple House appropriators.

The closed-door negotiations left many of Congress’ biggest disaster aid advocates surprised and disappointed, and even top appropriators with jurisdiction over disaster funding said they were blindsided.

“I would have thought that if you were going to do something, disaster funding would’ve been one of the starting points. I have no idea how they got to that,” Rep. Mark Amodei (R-Nev.), chair of the House Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee, which funds FEMA, told POLITICO’s E&E News.

“They didn’t call me in and ask me for any advice,” he said. “Can you believe that?”

The funding omission was made all the more striking by the fact that lawmakers were leaving Washington two days ahead of schedule, in part because of the hurricane.

And some members, like Rep. Matt Gaetz, a Florida Republican who has resisted efforts to preemptively appropriate disaster dollars, voted against the CR.

“The right-wingers here, the MAGA crowd, even after disasters happen, they have opposed disaster aid for communities in need,” said a frustrated Rep. Kathy Castor (D-Fla.).

“I’m fearful of it because we’ve lived through it a number of times,” she added. “Even members from Florida after a disaster have opposed initial aid going in, and it’s not the way to have a government function, or FEMA function. It’s not right.”

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) skipped the vote to be in Florida ahead of Helene’s landfall but supports new funding to refill FEMA’s disaster fund”.

trump: “Kamala [Harris] spent all her FEMA money, billions of dollars, on housing for illegal migrants, many of whom should not be in our country,” Trump said at the rally, adding, “Now we have a horrific disaster in North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and Virginia — that’s how big this hurricane was — and the Harris-Biden administration says they don’t have any money. They’ve spent it all on … illegal migrants.” (remember what always happens when his lips are moving)

Truth: The Federal Emergency Management Agency launched a “rumor response” page on its website Thursday to try to counter what it calls “false” accusations that it has diverted disaster relief funds to house migrants to the U.S.
“This is false. No money is being diverted from disaster response needs. FEMA’s disaster response efforts and individual assistance is funded through the Disaster Relief Fund, which is a dedicated fund for disaster efforts,” the agency says on its website. “Disaster Relief Fund money has not been diverted to other, non-disaster related efforts.”
FEMA receives its funding through the Department of Homeland Security, and Congress recently passed a spending bill that gave FEMA $20 billion for disaster relief.

Trump is just confused and lacks basic knowledge on this, and most, subject(s). This is probably why he is confused: In a SEPERATE pot of money, however, FEMA, along with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, have funded communities to help pay for “food, shelter, clothing, acute medical care, and transportation to noncitizens recently released from DHS custody and awaiting their immigration court proceedings,” according to a DHS press release.

Fema funds were not spent on migrants. You are being lied to again.

What mayorkas said is:
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas gave a news conference and said that while the agency had sufficient funds to deal with recovery efforts for victims of Hurricane Helene, it could run out of money if another major hurricane hit the U.S. this year.
“We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting,” Mayorkas said. “FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.”

The unempathetic Trump has raised millions for the hurricane relief effort. Like the millions he also raised for the victims of his assassination attempt.

Seems that money is coming from donations by people. trump is worth like 9 billion dollars. He should donate some.
He would definitely get more recognition for this and more money would be donated if he wasn't such a douchebag. Like why call Tim Walz names (tampon tim) and criticize the federal government when raising this money? Why not just raise the money with out the insults and criticism? trump just cant not be a douche.
