How has Bidenflation affected you?

Not enough personal stories here anymore, which are the best part. I’d much rather read about your life than your whacky views.

I’ll go first. Overall, we fared pretty well, though it got pretty tight in the middle, especially at the grocery store. We have a lot of special food needs so it can be tricky keeping a reasonable grocery bill. The stimulus was awesome. 3 kids, so it was a lot. I didn’t need it so I put it in an index fund. With any S.O.R. luck, Trump and Biden will be paying for all my kids’ college. Wife got laid off and the Trump unemployment bennies were awesome! It was high times. Then the next year, Biden made the bennies tax free, and enacted it retroactively so we got a nice surprise refund check. My wages lagged hard for a long time and sucked with inflation raging, but finally I think I caught up to about even and have been playing catch up for awhile. I think this is the part many don’t realize why some don’t feel the booming economy - it takes a bit to dig out of a hole.

Overall, I give the final year of Trump and Biden’s 4 years a B+. I wish everyone had the same or better, but as usual it was pretty rough times for many.

Worldwide inflation has affected me. You'll have to explain what the difference is between worldwide inflation and inflation Biden caused. Please explain what it was specifically Biden did to singlehandedly cause the inflation and what the proportion is compared to the overall worldwide inflation.

Held a press conference where he actually said the words of there being no consequences to Russia beyond sanctions for a "mild incursion" into Ukraine. Russia then invaded taking a large amount of Ukrainian grain off the market, and the subsequent sanctions took a large amount of Russia oil off the market. This caused a dual rise in global food and energy prices to fuel global inflation. Thanks Biden!

What percentage of inflation was that responsible for? 1%? 1.3%?

And that would be Putin inflation.

If I told you that I have a bunch of cash in my car and the door is unlocked then I certainly failed myself, but if you take the money then you are the guilty one.

Putin inflation or Biden inflation, call it what you want. Either way, Trump is the answer.

Even if I thought by Trump being in office, because of his cabinet and the decisions made makes the economy better than with Biden or Kamala, I couldn’t and wouldn’t vote for him.

If you even know one person that has been actually raped or anything like it, I don’t know how you vote for Trump… or anyone else that has done similar things or speaks similar words.

I have felt the effects of inflation. Everything costs more and I haven’t had an inflation beating cash raise for 5 years. I get a raise but not over the current inflation rate.

I am blessed that my current company comes up with creative non salary ways to give “raises” so to speak that makes a dent. I also like the people I work with, which is more valuable than a few bucks.

Most people who vote for him just think everybody is lying about him. Simple as that.

Biden admin legit did a decent job at combating inflation. It hit me and mine but it feels like we're catching up slowly. We enjoyed the benefits and things that were given out during Covid. Most people don't and won't feel a booming economy because the Boom isn't something that greatly benefits your average American by design. Things kind of just improve a little here or there or get slightly worse in increments trending along a line that's been going in the same direction for decades.

Well they did better than any other nation by a mile. But corporations gouging us due to American politicians being in the pocket of big business for the better part of 4 decades is all the Democrats fault apparently.

That's what I'm saying. Good job. And yeah It's mostly Republicans who **** us up but we know who they are (insane a$$holes). I'll always vote for the Dems but I fault them a decent amount for the current state of things. I don't know how we can avoid that.

As Bernie said, top 1% in the USA have more of the pie than the bottom 90%. Obviously the antidote to that is electing a billionaire to the Presidency and more tax cuts for the rich.

Don't worry, as soon as we get rid of that pesky social security thing eating up all the money, we'll be fine. Hell by liquidating that fund we could probably increase the wealth of the billionaires by a good 0.002%, maybe more!

Oh, the constant posting is why this place is a ghost town.

Lolololololololmao.

The thing he got right is that conservatism is the new punk rock.

"Trump picked up a larger proportion of voters under 30 than any Republican presidential candidate since 2008"

The even wilder statistic from the same article as the above quote is "Among young women, Biden’s 35-point lead over Trump in 2020 shrunk to a 24-point lead for Harris." Young women were 11 points more likely to vote for Biden than they were for Kamala. Making Kamala the nominee created an 11 point swing to Trump among women under 30.

Bravo Democrats!
