At this point it seems more likely the Spurs trade to get better
Yeah I dont know why people keep talking Spurs as a tanking team and that this was some sort a tank battle.

Getting Wemby to playoffs would be valuable for his development, and his development is their priority. They arent pushing all in, but they probably also wanna see how well they would do there to know if they should consider "big game hunting" next offseason.

Mostly because they play in the West. If the Spurs fall out of the play in race, which I still think could happen, then I have no doubt SAS will tank hard.

Look what Brice does when he finally gets off the pine!

Would now be a good time to dig out my draft night post where based on one highlight video I concluded BS was our best guy, or would that be wasting my ammo? Sorry about the question Brice.

When Brice showed up to camp this season it was obvious he put in lots of work. He moves much better than last season (probably conditioning and further surgery recovery), looks healthier and he clearly worked on his game. The guy just turned 21 and he's shooting 47% from the field and 41% from three (close to 90% for free throws). I'm actually surprised with how well he moves now.

His problem is that he simply does not have an NBA body for his position. Too small and too slow. He could (and probably will) make good money overseas though. I don't think Brice gets another multiyear deal in the NBA.
