Following Potential 2025 Draftees

You guys buy what Tony is saying about it not mattering? Harper is going to sign with a big agency and I presume it will really piss them off which in turn will have downstream effects.
I dont htink it matters that much, but it's not a great sign.

If Zion couldn't pressure his way out of getting drafted by New Orleans to get to NYK, I think we are fine.

The one thing Ive been disappointed with Flagg is that he's not the STOCKS monster I thought he would be. Not that he's been bad in that regard, but I was expecting like averages of above 2 on both steals and blocks.
Flagg is more of a helpside blocker. Those highlight blocks come and go. But they look awesome on Youtube, so people remember them and Flagg gets a reputation as a swat expert.

He's not like Kessler.

Yeah, I'm not expecting Kessler numbers, but I do think he ends the season above 2 blocks per game.

I need to actually watch a Thomas Sorber game to determine what he is, but his stats are crazy (though Georgetown only has one game against a decent opponent)

Yeah, the top 3 are all better anyone in this class.

But this class still looks above average to very good for sure. Would be an all-time great class if Flagg and Harper were plus shooters, but... We'll see.
Yes, the fact that 2026 looks great doesn't take anything away from 2025. Should be back to back great drafts.

A big issue with the Jazz with the draft is that they're kind of in a worst of all worlds situation for young players.

1. Have just so many random guys that can be hard to ensure a player gets minutes (this applies more to the guys in the 6-35 range)
2. Have been intentionally losing for years now

The Pistons had a somewhat similar situation last year where every single player refused to work out for them because they thought they wouldn't get minutes and there was such a culture of losing. So they ended up just randomly drafting Ron Holland without ever working him out.

A situation where guys basically refuse to workout for the Jazz (especially for the second and third firsts) seems more likely than any trade demands though.

In particular, if you're a PF or C who isn't Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey... Not a ton of reason for you to want to go to the Utah Jazz, lol.

Jazz already have Markkanen, Hendricks, John Collins, Kessler, and Filipowski at PF/C.

I don't think the Jazz will get workouts with like Maluach or Queen or Toppin or Broome.

While you dont draft just to fit, it has to be said that both Demin and Harper possess the ability to create a duo with Lauri that can be special, if either can establish mind-meld type of chemistry with him.

Flagg and Bailey chances of doing that are much lower (especially true for Bailey).

Yeah, I dont think it's a big deal, but I just hope people stop tweeting at him. Let it rest.
Dude he goes out of his way to comment on stuff he’s not even tagged on lol. He started it just saying. Like a random Jazz fan would post a Tankathon mock and he would comment hell no on it lol.

Glad to see that. I will say, I get so annoyed when Jazz fans get defensive about players not wanting to play or be here. Makes me cringe and I really wish they would just stop.
