Too bad Cody went down.: he played great on defense as usual but this game they did not stick him in the corner but let him be close to the action and he was reasonably good. Cody has such a great awareness where to be and how to rotate. When he and Collier played together Utah looked so much better on defense.

Meanwhile, Collier is slowly getting better at long passes. But, man, does he need to figure his close-to-the basket offense. His shot is so blockable - even for a team like the Pelicans who had no shot blockers.

So far he's seemed more like Westbrook lite- similar body type and downhill game. Not a triple double machine, but probably much more likely than any other Jazz player to pick one up.
He’s speedy enough and he reads defenses better than Sexton but Sexton is the one that I’ve heard opposing announcers use that appellation for on League Pass.

Can't tank our players and coaches enough for tonight's result. Onward and downward!
Absolutely! That was totally enjoyable- I wish we had a few more with that level of excitement!

Perhaps in a non-tanking season we’d assign some level of responsibility for the breakdown. But CJ McCollum has always been a cold hearted killer in the clutch, and he got some good support from Murphy and a few others.

Our pups need to learn how to close out a game. Some really bad decision making in the OT from George, Sensabaugh and Collier imo. Kessler bailed us out several times. He’s become the Jedi Master of the Baby Corps. I don’t know for the life of me why they didn’t run him a few plays in OT though.
