What to make of this dude? He's wild! Has some wacked out views to go along with his good views. Life long whitewater kayaker and environmental advocate. Heroin addict and dealer. Massive serial philanderer. Conspiracy theorist. Trump basher seemingly turned Trump sycophant. Health and wellness advocate. He's all over the map but seems to have some good attributes.

After looking at all that I would say that he is in general a pretty crappy human being that is unstable AF.

As for seemingly hating trump previously to now thinking trump was sent by God, that displays his instability and is likely evidence that his allegiance is easily purchased and gives credence to the rumors that he went to Kamala Harris and asked for a position in her cabinet and got declined, then promptly headed over to trumps camp and was quickly promised a position in the trump administration with trump gaining the RFK voters in return (RFK of course immediately endorsed trump after the promise of a cabinet position)
 
And of course he is also weird as **** with the whole bear roadkill incident and the brain worm and the voice and body shaking and eating of raw pork and being anti pasteurization.
Then there is the likelihood that his instruction of the health of the nation could lead to outbreaks of measles and tuberculosis and flu etc etc etc and he could also be categorized as dangerous to the health of the nation.

I have seen many reports of TB and measles and flu cases all being on the rise. Also have read about the current governments attempts to hide the information of the rise in these diseases. Which isn't surprising at all.
 
He's just a piece of ****. He's a great example of what being born into a family living in decades of privilege and wealth will do to a person. The final devolution. A complete waste of skin who now has the ability to hurt everyone with his ridiculous opinions. He was a big nothing while he just destroyed his own brain but now that he had unfettered access to everyone else he's a destructive scum-bag that needs to be stopped.

God I hope the Democrats wake the **** Up and find their balls. Otherwise we are all just ****ed.

I think it’s an open question as to whether it matters anymore if Democrats are able to fight back. Would the opposition party in another country have much of a chance if it was fighting the ruling party, the richest in the country, law enforcement that primarily favors the ruling party, the major organized religions of that country, and the media including most of the social media platforms in that country?

It’s not so much of a Democrats need to fight issue for me anymore. It’s a legit question now whether we can dig ourselves out of the kleptocracy we’ve created. I think it remains to be seen. Self-government has rarely survived throughout history. With demagogues like Trump and the richest like Musk, it’s easy to see why.

That is exactly why the founding fathers built 3 separate but equal branches, as we hear all the time, checks and balances. But it takes someone to initiate the checks, to engage the balances. If the legislative just sit back and do nothing then the judiciary has very little to work with in checking the power of the executive branch. But we have already seen judges stepping in when it was brought before them. We need some politicians with enough balls to keep up the fight, keep taking it to the courts, and keep speaking the truth, no matter what the threats personally or professionally. And consistently be transparent to the public about the actions and the harms being caused in all this to hopefully sway the populace at the election both. No matter how good the system can be, it takes people to keep it running effectively. And as the saying goes, all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.

I don’t disagree. But what are democrats supposed to do?

1. They can’t stop anything. They were shut out of the house and senate because the cost of eggs was too high. Btw, how is the cost of eggs these days?
2. They might be able to impeach if they regain the House in 2026. But what would the point of impeaching him be if they don’t own a super majority of the senate to convict? Trump could literally nuke London and not a single Republican in the senate would vote to convict him of anything.
3. Republicans have zero incentive to cross him. There’s literally is no reason for them to, unless they want to commit political suicide and put their families at risk.

Democrats can slow some of these proceedings but they can’t stop a damn thing. They can certainly start blowing up tv shows much like the tea party did by throwing crap on the wall. They definitely need to start throwing something at Trump and musk. But We threw any democratic check on power over Eggs or brown people or something.

I’ll also say I think it’s an open question as to how much it matters anymore what the Democrats say or do. The world’s richest men are all in for Trump. They have unlimited resources and control all of the nation’s news and media platforms. From Fox News to cnn to wash post to Facebook and twitter. I genuinely am unsure if Democrats will ever be able to get their message out to get us out of this mess. You can’t just give the world’s worst men this much power and expect to undo it in one election cycle.

To what end?

Those who rant endlessly about “the elites” and “the forgotten man” won’t participate in this.

And even if this is successful at its aims, then what? Why save democracy and capitalism for a year or two when voters will return to lap up their own vomit the next time eggs get a few cents more expensive?

At some point, we need an electorate that actually values the freedoms of democracy and will act responsibly to protect them. Right now we have an electorate that bitches but does nothing to preserve democracy. In fact, we have an electorate that actively works to “burn democracy down” because they feel it isn’t giving them the excitement, respect, and cheap *** eggs it feels it deserves.

Boycotting corporations and supporting privately owned local businesses sounds like a great idea. Screw Bezos and Walmart. Hope this catches on.

There needs to be a lot more than just a boycott to restore all of that. I hope there’s a campaign for these folks to get involved locally. A lot of our “pro business” legislation is passed at the state level. Most voters have no idea who their local representatives are and what they’re passing. Protesting for a day might make you feel good but it does zero to move the needle. To actually enact change, we need to activate people and keep them involved.

Just this past week Utah did this. I bet less than 10 percent of the Utah electorate is aware of it. But I’m sure almost all know who Kim kardasian slept with last week or who is America’s top masked dancer or whatever the hell that show is. Guess which issue will have a more direct impact on their lives?

The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board published an op-ed Monday calling on Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to set aside his anti-vaccine activist positions in light of the nearly 50 measles cases that have been confirmed among mostly unvaccinated children in Texas.

“We are on record as skeptical of RFK Jr.’s nomination. The Senate confirmed him. Now the best-case scenario would be for Mr. Kennedy to internalize that he is no longer an activist outsider who needs to take provocative potshots to get attention,” the Journal’s editorial board wrote.

As of last week, 48 children in the South Plains region of Texas have confirmed cases of measles, and 13 have been hospitalized. The disease is so transmissible that up to 9 out of 10 people who come into contact someone with measles can be infected, according to the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases.

According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, all the children who have been infected are either unvaccinated or have unconfirmed vaccination statuses. The department has stated “additional cases are likely” due to how contagious measles is.

“The tragedy is that this doesn’t have to keep happening. In 2000 measles was declared eliminated from the U.S., meaning 12 months with no continuous spread,” the Journal’s op-ed read.

“Yet for some people, the reality of measles feels like a sepia-toned history lesson, whereas the antivax hooey featured on podcasts these days sounds current,” the Journal added. “RFK Jr., an environmental lawyer by trade, has long been part of the problem, and at his Senate confirmation hearings he presented himself as just asking questions, man. That undersells his role in spreading doubt and confusion.”
 
there's a lot of evidence that fluoride in toothpaste in the modern era has most likely made water fluoridation redundant.
